SW-Sports, brings you Solidworks Box Cricket Tournament -2024.

Tournament details:

• Dates:        Month of May(Date will be communicated soon)
• Timings:    Weekdays, 4:00 PM to 06:00PM
• Venue:       Red Fort, Tennis court.
• Format:      League Matches 
• Ball used:  Tennis Ball

Tournament Rules: 

Rules and Regulations for SOLIDWORKS BOX CRICKET 2024

1.       All matches will be played with Tennis ball.

2.       Per team 7 players are required to play a match (6 Men's + 1 Women).

3.       Max squad size is 10 players.

4.       To form a team, Max 5 players are allowed from a same working team and 2 players from other SW working teams (this will include both men and women players)  

5.       A player must represent only one team.

6.       The squad, once submitted, will remain unchanged throughout the tournament and no player substitutions will be allowed.

7.       Please ensure the availability of your team members before submitting the entry.

8.       Preliminary matches will be 5 over’s a side and One bowler can bowl only 1 over.

9.       Semi Final & Final (It will be 6 over’s a side)
Minimum 5 bowlers per team and only bowler can bowl 2 overs.

10.   Women player will open the batting and also 1st over will be bowled by women player.

11.   Double runs for women player (if she scored single run, it will be considered as 2 runs)

12.   15mins per side. 30min match

13.   Bowler should not touch the line otherwise ball will be called NO Ball.

14.   Knee high full-toss ball will be No ball.

15.   Free hit for all type of No Ball.

16.   Only Run out applicable for Free hit and no ball (above knee).

17.   Outside the fence for Free hit and no ball, 1 run will be declared.

18.   Dead ball will be called if the ball bounces more than once.

19.   Leg Before wicket, Leg byes & byes will not be applicable

20.   You have to report with all team members at the venue 15 mins before the scheduled time otherwise BYE will be given to opponents.

21.   Committee will provide kit which includes Bat, Ball, and Stumps etc. You can also bring your own bats.

22.   In any case, the decision of Umpires / Committee will be final

23.    Under-Arm bowling: Rolling of arm is not allowed

24.   Fence Out: Direct hit to side and back fence is OUT (other than baseline rule)

25.   Baseline rule: Direct hit to side fence outside the last baseline is 6 and bounce hit to fence is 4.

26.   Direct hit to straight fence is 6 and bounce hit to fence is 4.

27.   One bounce, outside the boundary fence is 4.

28.   Max. 2 fielders can stand behind the last baseline (marking will be done).

29.   Last man can bat with runner. Batsman will be out if runner/batsman gets run out.

30.   Any ball outside the leg stump will be wide.

31.   Over throw – no declared runs if it hits any side of the fence. Runs should be taken by running.

32.   Full match will be played by one side of a Pitch. Pitch end will not be swapped during the innings.

33.   Decision from the umpire can be wrong; decision will not be having any intention against any team. Captains of both the teams have to accept the decision & continue the game. No arguments with umpires.

34.   Please note that, if worst condition occurs like quarrel, arguments or abusing, respective team will be discarded from the tournament.

35.   Team should be there at the specified time of the match. TOSS will occur before 10 min of the match.

36.   TIE match will be decided on the basis SUPER OVER

How to Participate:

• Please ensure the availability of the team members before submitting the entry.
• To play a match, 7 players of your team is necessary.
