SUPER SUNDAY CRICKET3  TOURNAMENT''

GENERAL RULES :

1. LBW IS NOT OUT

2. RUNS FOR BYES AND LEG BYES & overthrows SHALL BE PERMITTED.

3. NO BALL HAS TO BE REBOWLED AS A FREE HIT. 1 EXTRA RUN AVAILABLE TO BATTING TEAM.

4. FOR A WIDE BALL 1 RUN WILL BE GIVEN TO BATTING TEAM.

5. LEAGUE MATCH AND FINAL MATCH ONLY 1 BOUNCER

6. EXTRA FAST DELIVERY OR WRONG ACTION NOT ALLOWED. 

7. IN CASE OF A TIE, 1 Super Over will be bowled. (Max 2 wickets per side)

8. If the ball hits the net above ,then a catch taken by 1 hand will be considered out. Side nets are not considered. 

9. Last man out

10. Teams decided after auction will not be changed (unless extreme conditions) .Any players who fails to turn up that team will play with one player short 

11. OPENING BATSMEN WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO BOWL IN LEAGUE MATCHES IF BATTING FIRST AND THOSE WHO BOWLED IN FIRST INNING , THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO BAT FIRST (OPENING PAIR)

(SHALL BE PERMISSIBLE IF 1 PLAYER SHORT OR MORE THEN ONE PLAYER SHORT)

12. ONLY 3 PLAYERS ALLOWED ON BOUNDARY LINE  

 13. For any objection, only captain can talk to umpire. Any other player/s objecting umpire decision will attract 5 penalty runs per player and per objection except captain.

I.e. 2 player objecting means 10 penalty runs

14. Overstepping Bowling Crease Line (front & Side line both) will be declared NO-BALL and free-hit will apply.

15. Information bowling side compulsory to umpire.

16. Wicket keeper to inform leg-umpire for any changes.

Umpires decision will be final & will be unchallenged. 

SOME NEW CHANGES IN THIS FORMAT 

THERE WILL BE 6 TEAMS . THREE IN EACH POOL. 

TOTAL OF SIX LEAUGE MATCHES AND ONE FINAL MATCH WHICH WILL BE PLAYED BY TOP TWO TEAMS OF THEIR POOL 

LEAGUE  MATCHES WILL HAVE 5 OVERS EACH 

AND FINAL MATCH WILL BE 7 OVERS EACH 

AND HERE COMES THE NEW TWIST 

FOR LEAGUE MATCHES THERE WILL BE BABY OVER. I.E 2 PLAYER WILL BOWL 3 BALLS EACH 

1. HENCE THERE WILL BE 6 PLAYERS BOWLING 5 OVERS. THE TWO PLAYERS WHO WILL BOWL THAT BABY OVER WILL HAVE TO DECLARE TO UMPIRE IN ADVANCE .THOSE WHO DID NOT BOWL IN A MATCH WILL HAVE TO COMPULSORILY OPEN THE MATCH

FOR FINAL MATCH THERE WILL A ‘’TEST’’ LIKE FORMAT.EACH SIDE WILL HAVE TO PLAY TWO INNINGS OF 3 OVERS AND 4 OVERS EACH (WITHOUT ANY BREAKS)

FOR BOWLING TEAM RULES 

1ST INNINGS THREE DIFFERENT BOWLERS WILL BE USED WHICH WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO BOWL IN 2ND INNINGS (FOR 3 OVERS)

2ND INNINGS THREE DIFFERENT BOWLERS CAN BE USED WH HAVE NOT BOWLED IN 1ST INNINGS MEANING 1 PLAYER CAN BE ALLOWED TO BOWL 2 OVERS (BUT NOT CONSECUTIVE )

 FOR BATTING TEAM 

1ST INNINGS OPENERS AND ONE DOWN BATSMEN WILL HAVE TO BAT LAST IN 2ND INNINGS 

ANY BATSMEN GETTING OUT IN 1ST INNING CAN PLAY AGAIN IN 2ND INNING AGAIN 

Baby over and catch out over is not applicable in final match. 

 ANYONE TEAM WHICH HAS THE HIGHEST SCORE OF COMBINED TWO INNINGS WILL BE THE WINNER OF THE THAT MATCH AND THE TOURNAMENT
