Rules
1 There will be 9 players in one team.
2 All matches will be played with 6-overs per side.
3 Only one bowler can bowl maximum two overs.
4 We will start matches with 6-overs per side, but if at any point we realize that 6-overs matches will not be completed within the allotted time, we will reduce the matches to 5 overs per side accordingly. (In 5-overs per side matches one bowler can bowl maximum one over)
5 A new ball will be provided at the start of every inning.
6 If the ball hits the straight net without touching anything, it will be declared as 6 runs.
7 If the ball hits the straight net after touching the side net, it will be declared as 4 runs.
8 If the ball hits the straight net after touching the top net, it will be declared as 2 runs.
9 A super over will be played for tied matches with all wickets intact.
10 LBW decision will not be given out.
No ball rules
11 A ball above waist height will be declared a no-ball in the following cases
i) if the batter hits the ball while in the crease position
ii) if the batter misses the ball while in the crease position
iii) if the batter misses the ball while out of the crease position.
12 A ball above waist height will not be declared a no-ball in the following cases
i) If the batter hits the ball from outside the crease position
ii) If the ball touches the batter when the batter is out of the crease position.
13 A ball that does not bounce on the pitch and directly goes beyond the stumps below stumps height will not be
declared a no-ball, but if it goes above stumps height, it will be declared a no-ball.
14 If ball reaches to batter on more than one bounce it will be declared a no-ball.
15 A free hit will be awarded for any no-ball, regardless of the type of no-ball.
16 Stumping out will not be declared batter out for any kind of no-ball.
17 Ball will be counted if batsmen get run out on no ball.
18 Stumping out/Run out will be declared batter out for a wide ball; that ball will not be counted.
19 A Bowler can not be removed from attack as a penalty for any number of beamers or above waist height balls.
20 If a batter gets out on a no-ball or a free hit ball, all runs completed by running will be counted, and the batter will not be declared out (except in the case of a run-out).
