Thank you for participating in HCL Edition 1, we welcome you wholeheartedly ??⚡

Rules are very important in Life and in cricket, they guarantee the fairness and smooth game play.
Behold the rules of our 
*HDFC CHAMPIONS LEAGUE Edition-1 Rules*

1. 9 players in each team.
2. 6 over matches. (Over limit- max 1 over per bowler)
3. While Bowling first, those who have not done bowling will open the innings and One Down.
4. While Batting first, the players who are opening the innings and One down will not get a chance to bowl.
5. Max 3 players allowed at boundary line. (Minimum 1 player)
6. Max 5 players allowed behind the bowler.
7. Side arm not allowed. Fast bowling is not allowed.
8. Top net catch taken is out, side net catch not out.
9. Leg Bye and Byes are allowed, overthrows are also applicable.
10. Stumping on No Ball is Out, stumping on free hit is not out.
11. Bowling must be done within the bowling crease(box).
12. Midline No ball will be applicable.
13. Any ball bowled above waist height will be no ball.
14. Any no ball bowled, the next delivery will be a free hit.
15. Any bowl bowled directly behind and above the stump will be no ball.
16. In case of tie :
       a. points will be shared at the group stage.
       b. In semi-finals chasing will be compulsary.
       c. In finals, there will be super over.
17. On the field, if any player has concern, he should ask his captain. Only captain can co-ordinate with umpires/committee.
18. Team should be available at venue 30 minutes prior to start match, else penalty will be applicable.

19. *Twist in HDFC CHAMPIONS LEAGUE Edition-1*
a. First over will be powerplay over.
b. Field restriction during power play over. *Only 3 players allowed behind the bowler and 1 player/fielder allowed at boundary line.*
20. Only 1 substitute is allowed, you can take a substitute for 30 points less than the actual player points.
