Rules & Regulations -
Both innings is limited with 12 overs and the bowling quota will be as per
cricket rules. Only 2 bowlers are allowed to bowl maximum 3 overs.
Power play will be of first four overs. Only 2 fielders will be allowed outside
the thirty-yard circle during power play.
Byes, Leg Byes and Over Throws are applicable in this Tournament. But
LBW is not applicable.
Only 5 fielders can field on the leg side at any point of time including
bowler.
In case of Tie in any Match, the Winner will be decided by a Super Over.
Top two Teams will qualify for knock out based on points and net run rate.
In situation where NRR is same, the winner of the match played in the
league stages will go through.
1. During League Matches the Points shall be given as follows :-
Win - 2 Lost - 0 No Result - 0 Forfeit - 2
Extra run and an extra ball will be given for No ball & Wide. Free-hit is not
applicable.
A bowler who bowls 4 wides consecutively can has his over terminated by
his/her captain.
Umpire's decisions will be final throughout the tournament.
Each over has to be completed within 5 minutes.
Innings break shall not be of more than 10 minutes.
Mankad out is applicable after one warning. In this case the delivery is
called as a dead ball.
Captain Duties & Responsibilities -
Captain has to ensure that discipline is maintained within the team.
He has to ensure no member of his team engages in any fight with
umpire/other player regarding any decision.
Captain has to ensure no member of his team gets into any verbal or
physical fight with any member from the same/different team.
Captain has to make sure all members of his team get a chance to
participate in the tournament.
Lastly, captain has to ensure that his team plays the game in its true spirit
and respects their opposition as well as the game of cricket in general.
