Tournament rules and prizes

1- Tournament Start date will be the 26th of April 2024 (IN SHA ALLAH)

2- 10 Teams (2 Group), Group A will play against Group B in the league Matches.

3- Top 4 teams will qualify for the quarterfinal from each group.

4- 150 SR registration-To b pay CASH or (STC-0566488599).

5- 16-players squad to upload with pictures on cricheroes app Before (26-04-2024).

6- To play semifinal or final, a player must have played at least 1 league game.

7- 14-over games.

8- 3-overs limit for a bowler.

9- Changes will be allowed after the first match but before the 2nd match. 11 players from the 1st match cannot be replaced.

10- 1 bouncer is allowed in an over. 2nd will be declared as No-ball.

11- Any ball over the head is a “wide ball” and if played will be a legal ball but “one of the over.”

12- There is no “No-ball” on the bowler’s “side change or on starting new over.”

13- Similarly, no “No-ball” on “Wicket-keeper change”.

14-There is no concept of Gallery and hence no “NO-ball” on it.

15-Free-hit for any No-ball.

16-STAR Players are not allowed – organizers have an authentic list of star players specially the players from the 5 big teams of Riyadh cricket & players from Saudi national team are not allowed.

17-Chucking (watta bowling) is not allowed.

18- Every team will bring their own balls and tape (Dunlop or any small/softballs, or extra-large balls-Gas balls-Pakistani local brand balls are not allowed).

19- Bowler can only object to the ball if one of the conditions is there or the tape is torn, (the ball is soft or two different sizes of balls are used during an over).

20- Any team 20 mints late from start time will have a 2 overs deduction. A further 15 minutes will result in 2 more overs deduction. One hour late from the first start-up time will result in a walkover and disqualification.

21- Any team giving a walkover or playing with less than 8 players will be ruled out of the tournament regardless of the tournament stage.

22- No strike change on a catch-out even if the batsman has crossed, the new batsman will face the next ball.

23- Only a keeper can wear Gloves others are not allowed.

24- Bowler's attempt to get the player out at the non-striker end is subject to one legal warning. On the 2nd attempt, the bowler can claim out. The bowler must have not taken the complete bowling stance to attempt for out at the non-striker end.

25- Umpire’s decision is final, and players are not allowed to confront him.

26- Fielders can be replaced with out-of-squad players. But the leaving player will lose the right to ball or bat if left after the first innings, and or didn’t came within 8 overs.

27- Neutral umpiring will be provided in semis and the final.

28- It will be the batting team’s responsibility to do the correct scoring on the cricheroes app.

29- Player’s stats and points table will be online in the application and in case of any issue, you all are welcome to show your concerns, and will be fixed if found any error or omission.

30- Any concern shown at the later stage of the tournament related to earlier stats will not be entertained at all. So please keep a close eye on yours’ and others’ stats. –

31- The committee has all the right to remove any Team or a particular player at any time of the tournament due to misconduct. The affected team cannot object to it. Rules can be added in given circumstances.

32- During the league matches, in case due to any government movements of any nature movements (e.g. Rain etc.) happen then committee will give one point for each team.

33- Only in the Quarter, Semi and Final if it happens government movements of any nature movements match will be recalled as a new match or super over committee will decide.

5. Medals for individual outstanding performances e.g. (100-runs) (6 sixes in over) (hit-trick) (5-wkts).

6. Trophies for player of the tournament, Bowler and Batter of the tournament.
