Rules and Regulations:
1.Six Overs a side under arm to be played on 22nd and 23rd
. January, 2022.
2.Bowling format 2-1-1-1-1
3. Bowling rules: No ball will be called in case:
(a) If the bowler’s foot touches bowling line crease or over steps as shown
to the captain in the first match of the tournament
(b) Ball first pitches before centre line
(c) Bowled direct above waist height in case batsman is inside crease before
the bowler bowls,
(d) Bowled direct above head in case batsman is ahead of crease before the
bowler bowls delivery,
(e) Wicket keeper collects ball ahead of stumps in case bat and ball didn’t
connect.
(f) The Umpire is not informed about change in Wicket Keeper.
(g) The Umpire is not informed about the Bowling side before the start of
an over
And the ball will not be counted and one run added in the batting side
score. BATSMAN HAS TO BE INSIDE CREASE BEFORE THE
BOWLER BOWLS DELIVERY otherwise no ball will not be given in case
of above clause of d
4.In case of NO BALL,
(i)
Stump out , hit wicket, Clean bowled and caught will be given
NOT OUT
(ii) If the batswoman is self out, direct hit above the ribbon and run
out she will be given OUT, and, ball will be counted and one
run added in the batting side score as well.
5.Rules of Wide Ball:
(i)
If the ball passes untouched from off side of batsman by bat or
body part, outside wide marked area.
(ii) If the ball passes bat untouched by bat or body part directly
behind stumps.
(iii) If the ball passes untouched from leg side of the batsman then it
will be declared WIDE BALL and the ball will not be counted
and one run added in the batting side score
6.In case of wide ball only Hit wicket & Stump out will be given OUT and
the ball will not be counted and one run added in batting side score as
well.
7.Rules regarding Declared score of boundary (4), Two runs and one run
will be shown on the ground in first match to the captain of the side and
same to be followed by everyone even in case of ignorance of rule.
8.No LBW rules will be followed.
9.Direct hit above the ribbon is considered OUT.
10.Direct hit below or on the ribbon is considered Declared.
11.No Declared runs will be given if the batsman hits the ball to the tree
near the batting crease.
12.1 run declared will be given if the ball hits the tree ( near the bowling
crease ) below the ribbon. Similarly the batsman is considered OUT if
the ball hits above the ribbon on the said tree.
13.If any player touches the stump and displaces it without the ball in hands
during RUN OUT, then the stump has to be lifted along with the ball in
hand for the RUN OUT to be considered.
14.
If the bowler displaces the stump while bowing the ball, then the ball
will be considered as NO BALL.
15.Bowler can bowl at reasonable speed and the BATSMAN & UMPIRES
can object if they find the ball faster than acceptable level. First warning
will be given with DEAD ball declared in case of Umpire declares the
ball FAST and next time (for the WHOLE TOURNAMENT) it will be
called NO BALL and all rules of it applies as per Rule 4 and 3.
16.No Last batsman can bat alone
17.Runner will be given if the injury is known as pre tournament. In any
case it can be allowed ONLY IF bowling side gives consent to the
Umpires.
18.On field umpires can consult Third Umpire and the Third Umpire can
also contact the ON field Umpires in any decision related to the match
before the NEXT Ball is bowled. And the decision can be changed or
upheld by the UMPIRES only. Players’ interferences will be strictly
not allowed. In case of any complain ONLY CAPTAIN of the objecting
side can appeal ONLY ONCE to the UMPIRES, and the umpires’
decision will be final and acceptable to all teams and individuals.
19.In all decisions Umpires decision will be final and acceptable to all and
can only be over ruled by the team of Umpires before the next ball is
bowled.
(iii) If the ball passes untouched from leg side of the batsman then it
will be declared WIDE BALL and the ball will not be counted
and one run added in the batting side score

20.In League matches if scores are level of the both teams then super over
will be not bowled and equal points will be awarded to both
teams.(continue point no. 24 for super over)
21.If a team wins the match then two points will be given to the winning
team and zero to the losing team.
22.In case a player is short while starting the match then only ONE
SUBSTITUTE OF THE SAME GRADE WHO CAN BOWL, BAT
AND FIELD will be allowed with the consent of opposite captain. Both
the teams will have to inform the Umpires and the opposite captain
about the short player/s before the beginning of the match only. If the
short player of a side arrives, the substitute will have to be replaced. In
case they have not informed the umpires about short player then they
have to field with short player and no substitute will be given.
23.In case more than two players are not available of a single team then the
team will be given ONLY TWO SUBSTITUTES WHO CAN BOWL,
BAT AND FIELD. The team will get SUBSTITUTES OF THE SAME
GRADE for the remaining number of absent players. The team should
take consent with the opposite captain for the substitutes.
24.In Semi Final and Final matches, if score are level of both the teams
after the match is over then the super over will be bowled wherein last
batting team of match will bat first and both the teams will have to
declare names of all three batsmen who will bat in the super over and
only two wickets will be allowed per side. Bowling team can declare the
name of bowler when their turn comes for bowling. And if the score of
both teams are same even after super over then the team who scored
most boundaries will be declared winner. And if the boundaries are also
same of both the teams then decision will be declared by TOSS
immediately after Super overs.
25.The three teams with highest points after the league match will qualify
for play offs and if points are equal of top teams then the first three
places will be decided on the basis of BEST NET RUN RATE. The
Finals will be a ONE OFF MATCH. Winner of the final will be declared
WINNER OF THE TOURNAMENT. Rules of Super over will apply in
final.
26.If any point has been left in this sheet and due to that if any conflict
arises during tournament then final decision will be taken by Umpires.
AND THAT WILL BE BINDING TO ALL PARTIES.
27.Master print of this rule sheets will be signed by the captains before
starting of the tournament and one copy of it will be given to the
captains. It will be respective captains’ duty to make their players aware
of the rules as per Rule sheets.
