Other Details

1. A player who has played in one team is not allowed to play in another team. 

2. This tournament would be played with Leather balls. 

3. Each innings would start with a new ball. (A) In case a ball is lost or broken before two overs of an innings, then a new ball would be issued. (B) If lost after two overs of an innings, an old ball [used] would be issued.

 4. League matches would be of 24 overs will be of 12 overs a side. 
Final match would be of 40 overs will be of 20 overs a side.

5. Powerplay rules will be applicable (Overs 1-3): The first 3 overs of the - allows a maximum of two(2)  fielders outside the 30-yard circle. (Overs 4-12) allows a maximum of five (5) fielders outside the 30-yard circle

6. Innings/Match Duration: matches - Each innings must be completed in 45 minutes and the innings break is 5 minutes. The total match duration is 90 Minutes 

7. Maximum 2 Bowlers can take 3 Overs , other all can take 2 overs or 1 over.
8.  11 players are required from a team to start the match. Failure to do so would yield a walkover to the opposition team. 

9. In case of a delay in the start of the match due to late arrival of teams. a. Delay up to 5 minutes, 1 over will be reduced per side b. Delay up to 10 minutes, 2 overs will be reduced per side 

10. Delay beyond 15 minutes, the match will be awarded to the opposition team. 

11. On-field umpire’s decision would be the final one. 

12. It is the captain’s responsibility to uphold the spirit of the game of his team. The captain will be responsible for all the players and the team's behaviour.

13. If any prolonged wrong argument by a team with umpires and organizers it will be treated as misconduct. and it would yield a walkover to the opposition team based on the decision by umpires and organizers.

14. If any team walks out of the ground in protest during playtime, the team will be disqualified from the tournament. 

15. If any team misbehaves or abuses the umpires inside the field or outside the field during the match, the team will be disqualified from the tournament. 

16. For every win, a team would get 2 points, and the losing team wouldn’t get any points.

17. In any matches, if a tie happens Super over would be held. Rules for super over i)The team batting second in the match will bat first in the Super Over. ii) 3 Batsmen from each team can bat and 1 bowler from each team will bowl iii) The entire fielding unit is allowed to field.

18. If a match is stopped due to rain, then the match would be started where it was stopped.

19. Any requests for change of match timings will not be entertained. 

20. In matters of doubt not covered by the tournament rules, the decision of the tournament committee will be final and binding upon all concerned as per the standard rules. 

21. Final Decision-Making Rights Are Reserved by Management.

 

   GENERAL RULES  

1.     All Overs have to be conventionally bowled (Chucking not allowed).

2.     If Chucking is done, it will be given as No-ball + Free Hit for first two times for which warning will also be given and opponent will get additional run. After 2 warnings bowler will be not be allowed to bowl thereafter in the innings.

3.     Umpire should be informed before whether the bowler is going to bowl over/around/across the wicket prior to any change before any bowling of the delivery.

4.     1st bouncer above shoulder will be given as warning. 2nd Bouncer will be considered as No-ball and a free hit will be given. Any Bouncer above the head will be considered as wide.

5.     Mankad is allowed in the tournament

6.     Wicketkeeper should always collect the ball behind the stumps.

7.     No ball – Extra run will be counted; next ball will be declared as FREE HIT. 

8.     Umpire decisions are final and can be contested in a polite manner by players alone and the audience are not allowed to directly interact with umpires.

9.     Playing 11 to be updated 30 minutes prior to every match.

10.  Sportsmanship should be followed at all times. Players should not sledge and use any kind of abusive or foul language towards opponents or the umpires. Umpire’s decision has to be respected at all times. Proper conduct should be maintained by both teams. If teams fail to do so it will be disqualified and the opponent teams will be declared the winner by default.

11.   SG CLUB – LEATHER Heavy Ball will be used for whole tournaments.

12.  All Official Cricketing rules are applicable for whole tournaments
