BPL S-3 RULES
• Toss would be held 5 minutes before the start of the scheduled time.
Toss time (5.55 am)
• If any of the teams is not available on allotted schedule, 2 points will be awarded to the
opponent team.
• Out of the initial team squad. At any reason new players not allowed to play in this
tournament. (only vacation players are allowed to play in eliminator & qualifier rounds & name should be mentioned on squad list among 15 players)
• Each innings would start with a new ball. One bowler can bowl up to a maximum of 3 overs per match.
• 16 overs per side – 5 overs power play.
• A runner can be used only when a player gets injured during the innings or during fielding. A runner cannot be used for a player who is injured before the start of the match / tired during the match. The runner can be used only with the discretion of the umpires depending on the reason/cause and consent from the opposition captain.
• Chucking is strictly not allowed and if batsman at strikers or non-strikers end appeals against the action it’s left to the umpires on Held and if they and a problem they could warn the bowler. If the bowler continues with the same action umpires could call a no-ball.
• Byes, Leg Byes and Overthrows are applicable in this Tournament. One run and an extra ball will be awarded for a no ball or a wide ball and free hit is applicable.
• A substitute fielder shall be permitted. The substitute player cannot bowl or bat.
• It is captain's responsibility to uphold sprit of the game by his Team.
• Mankad out is not applicable.
• Impact players rule is applicable.
• Trophies will be presented to the Best Batsman, Best Bowler, Man of the series (MVP), Man of the Final Match, Runner-Up & Winning Team.
