YSL PREMIER LEAGUE
CRICKET RULES
1. Match format:
a. 5 overs (Playing 10 and 1 extra players per team).
2. Over per bowler limit: only 1 bowler can bowl max 1 over.
3. Wide ball rules:
a. Full toss ball behind the stumps will be considered as a wide ball.
4. NO Ball rules:
a. Full toss above waist is a no-ball.
5. Throw bowling is not allowed. Decision will be taken by the umpire.
6. Fielding Rules:
a. 2 Fielder is allowed over the boundry line.
b. 5 fielder are allowed behind the bowling line or turf mid line.
7. LBW: No LBW outs, foot deflections may result in leg byes/byes.
8. In case of Tie, Super Over will be played in Semi-finals and Finals.
9. Side Net is not out.
10. If the Batsman hits on top of the net and goes boundary it will give as six. If the batsman hits
top net and fielder catches direct catch then it will be given out.
11. Admin Rules:
a. All players must report at venue 30 minutes before game start.
b. If the full team doesn’t report 10 minutes prior to the official start time, the opposite team
will be awarded as winners.
c. Umpire decisions are final & irrevocable.
d. Players are requested to come in sportswear and Track pant are Compulsory.
f. All players are expected to be courteous to each other and with the officials.
g. Arguments with umpire will lead to player/team disqualification. This will be strictly
