Other Details

  • All the matches including Semi-finals and Final will be of 14 overs and
  • the same will be played with green hard tennis ball only.
  • The total number of overs may be reduced due to unforeseen
  • circumstances. However minimum number of overs can’t be less than 10
  • overs. In simple words, to have match on hand, minimum 10 overs are
  • compulsory.
  •  Each team must be present on the ground at least 20 minutes before the
  • time of commencement of the match.
  • After the toss, the list of final playing eleven shall be given to the
  • Umpire/Coordinator before start of every match. No changes will be
  • allowed in the playing eleven during the match under any circumstances.
  • A new ball has to be taken before every inningsIn all the matches, a bowler is allowed to bowl maximum 4 overs only,
  • and the same shall be reduced proportionately in case of a match with
  • reduced overs.
  • 7. No ball, Wide balls, Over throw, Byes and Leg-byes runs will be allowed
  • and will be calculated in score.
  • 8. There will be free hit after every No ball. Bouncer bowled above shoulder
  • height is not allowed in any match and will be considered as No-ball.
  • 9. There will be two Power Overs in each inning, which will be over number
  • 6 and 12. In power overs, the runs scored with the Bat only will be
  • considered for double of runs. However, Wide ball, No ball, bye, leg bye
  • runs will not be considered for double of runs. The Power Over numbers
  • may be changed in a reduced over game and decision regarding power
  • overs shall be reserved with Tournament Co-ordinators.
  • 10. During the entire match, i.e. from 1st over to 14th over, there would be
  • minimum 4 players inside the 30-yard circle. This is mandatory for all
  • the teams. First 3 overs of every innings shall be compulsory power play.
  • During power play, only 2 fielders shall be allowed outside the 30 yards
  • circle.
  • 11. A new batsman has to take stance in 120 seconds, otherwise he will be
  • considered time out and new batsman will follow.
  • 12. LBW rule shall not be applicable in any matches. A batsman will be
  • declared out when caught, bowled, stumped, and run-out as per
  • cricketing rules or as decided by Umpires/Coordinators.
  • In case of a tie, there will be super over to decide the result of the match.
  • Names of three batsman and one bowler has to be given to the umpires
  • before the start of Super over.
  • 14. A Runner will be allowed to a batsman only after the permission of
  • Umpires and opponent captain.
  • 15. The internal league matches, semi-finals and final match schedule and
  • venue will be decided by Tournament Coordinators.
  • 16. The decision of the Tournament Coordinators will be final and binding in
  • all respects.
  • 17. Neutral umpires and scorer will be appointed for each match. In case of
  • non-availability of the same both the captains of the team can appoint
  • neutral Umpires and scorer. All the decision taken by them during the
  • matches will be final and abide to all the players.
  • 18. All the players are requested to maintain decorum and discipline during
  • the cricket game. The Umpires/Coordinators reserves the sole right to
  • stop any player/team from playing the game on disciplinary grounds
  • without assigning any reason whatsoever.
  • 19. Man of the Match will be declared after completion of every match.
  • 20. Best Bowler, Best Batsman and Man of the Series shall be declared for
  • the entire tournament.
