Intra Cricket Tournament Rules
Men category
• Each team should have 11 players.
• Matches will be 8 overs a side, on a knockout basis. Maximum limit for a bowler would be 2 overs.
• 1st & 2nd over is a mandatory bowling power play, only 3 players are allowed to field outside the inner
circle.
• One over of batting power play can be taken by batting side from 3rd to 6th over. If not taken, 6th over
would be mandatory batting power play.
• Each team is expected to complete their allocated overs in 30 minutes, a penalty of 10 runs will be
added to the opponent score if this is not completed within the stipulated time. Captains will be
responsible for the timely start as well as completion of the game.

Standard rules
• It’s a tennis ball tournament, and we will use “COSCO” for the games in tournament.
• Complete team must report into the ground 2 hours before their scheduled game to qualify for the
match. For 8 AM match, the teams can be report by 7AM.
• Substitution allowed for any injuries sustained during the match play.
• Any No ball will result in a free hit with no field change (if its same batsman) along with a penalty of 1
run. Field can change if there is a change in batsman due to run taken.
• A bowler shall be limited to one fast short-pitched delivery per over. The second will be called a No
Ball.
• Wide ball will cost 1 run to the fielding side.
• No LBW and no leg byes. However, byes are allowed.
• Suspect action if questioned, needs to be raised to the Umpires and they will take the final call. Umpire
decision is a final decision. The bowler will not be allowed to bowl.
• In case of "tie" result will be decided through "Super over" system wherein 1 selective bowler and 3
batsmen from each side will participate.
• Teams need to get their own bats. Practice balls will not be provided by the organizers,
• In case of rain, Organizers will take a call and inform the captains with the way forward.
• Umpires’ decision would be the last and final decision.
