Rules and Instructions
1. Umpire decision is the final decision.
2. Each team with full strength must be available 10 minutes prior to their matches.
3. Toss for the teams will be done 10 minutes prior to their scheduled match, both teams captains presence is mandatory.
4. On the match day, if the team has short players, they must play short.
5. There is a buffer of 10 minutes if the team has not reported on time, post that it will be a walkover.
6. In case of rain or unplayable conditions on the ground, organisers will take a call when to continue the matches/tournament.
7. Players have all the rights to appeal, discuss with umpire but any inappropriate behaviour, bad words with umpire or organisers or others will result in a penalty of -5 or 5 runs to the opponent team.
8. No byes or leg byes runs.
9. Ball will be considered as Wide if it is on or outside the wide lines or above the waistline of the batsman and has made no contact.
10. Ball will be considered as No Ball if it pitches on the grass.
11. If the ball pitches more than 1 time before the wickets either on pitch or grass, it will be declared as Dead Ball.
12. In case of any contact with the ball, which is above the waistline of the batsman, it will be No-ball.
13. In case of a catch and both batsman change sides, the new batsman will take the strike, unless it’s an over.
14. Mankading is out after 2 or more warnings are given.
15. If the ball touches any part of the net or tree/leaves/branches in leg or off and goes to the boundary, it will be considered as bounce and will be 4 runs. On straight boundary (Net/Trees/Leaves/Branches) will be either 4 or 6.
16. If the ball touches any part of the nets (leg/off/back) or touches any tree or it's leaves or branches or any part of the tree and goes as a catch, it will be considered as bounce and hence batsman will not be given out.
17. Directly if the ball gets stuck on the tree in off, it will be 1 run but both the batsmen have to complete the run.
If the ball gets stuck on the tree in straight, it will be either 4 or 6 depending on bounce or direct.
Directly If the ball gets stuck on the leg tree/bushes, it will be out.
18. If the ball bounces in the ground and goes outside the ground in off or leg, it is declared 2 runs. Whereas behind the keeper nets, it will be single but both batsmen need to complete the run.
19. If the ball goes outside the ground directly, then the bounce of the ball will decide if the batsman is out or not. If the ball lands inside the ground, batsman is not out whereas, if the ball lands outside the ground, batsman will be declared as out this is applicable even if its straight 6. Ball has to land inside the ground.
20. There are some areas where the nets are torn. If the ball passes from them it will be declared 2 runs.
21. If the ball touches the boundary nets indirectly, it will be 4 runs
22. If the ball touches the boundary nets directly and ball stays in the ground, it will be 6. However if the ball goes outside the ground, it will be out.
23. On straight, If the ball goes directly out, then batsman will be given out
24. In league matches, in case of tie, both the teams will be given equal points. However, in knockout matches a super over will be bowled to decide the winner
25. Runners are allowed only if the batsman needs it. Runner to be decided by the opponent team captain.
26. There are runs on overthrows, if the ball goes to the designated boundary, it will be 4. However, if the ball goes to the open area on the leg side, it will be declared 2 runs the run which batsmen completed. Behind the keeper area if the ball crosses nets, it will be 1 run but the batsman has to complete the run.
27. There is no LBW out.
28. Retired hurt is not considered it will be retired out.
29. In case of no-ball or free hit, only run outs will make batsman out.
30. Only Full Arm bowling is allowed, in case of a chuck, the leg umpire will decide and give a no ball. Any consecutive such deliveries will result in over dismissal.
Match Format:
Max Overs per innings: 6
Max Overs per bowler: 2
Is Last man allowed: Yes, with the runner
Run out for last batsman. Any of the runners if out, batsman will be declared as out.
Fielding rules and restrictions:
- Max 2 fielders to be allowed on the straight (After the bowling crease). Whereas there is no minimum restriction on straight.
- Fielders have to leave gaps and should be away from the pitch, this is required for batsmen to run.
- Bowler has to tell the side to the umpire and the keeper should also be told.
- If One fielder at straight, he can stay even straight to the wickets
