Each team can have a maximum squad of 8 players (with 6 players in the playing squad).

Match Rules:

Each match consists of 5 overs per innings.

Four bowlers must bowl one over each, and one bowler can bowl 2 overs.

Bowling technique: No Underarm No Throw only Bowling is allowed in this tournament.

Wide and No-Ball rules: For every wide and no-ball, 1 run is awarded to the opponent’s team. Free hit is given for every no-ball bowled.

Scoring Rules:

Boundaries: If the ball hits the straight wall directly, it’s considered 6 runs. If it hits the wall after pitching on the floor or reflects from other walls, it’s 4 runs.

Overthrows: Batsmen can run on overthrows. If the overthrow hits the straight wall, it will be resulted in a boundary and if it hits the side wall where we have a 2 runs board then it will be awarded as 2 runs to the batting team.

Fielding Rules:

No more than 2 fielders are allowed in the 2nd half of the ground (beyond the bowling crease).

The wicket-keeper must be from the fielding side.

Catches: Direct catches count; no rebounds. Roof rebounds keep the ball in play but are not considered catches.

Other Rules:

No LBW outs.

No byes or leg byes allowed.

Matches are played with a light tennis ball.

Stumping on a no-ball is not valid.

In case of a tie, a super over is played to determine the winner.

Umpires’ decision is final.

Captains can speak to umpires in case of queries.
