Vikings Cricket League-Season 4

Vikings Team formed in the year 2018.
It’s been a fabulous journey.
VCL1 and VCL2 , VCL3 improved us as players and we enjoyed every moment .  Season 4 has all pool teams and more fun and exciting! 

Tournament format & Rules :

• 8 players max on the field per team
• 16 over games
• Max 4 overs per bowler
  
• $10 registration fee per player
  
• All ICC rules apply except the Leg Bye and LBW
  
• New batsman on strike (catch outs)
  
• Dead ball is a no ball
  
• Player should play at least one league game for the team to play in finals
  
• Player retire hurt/out is allowed
  
• Umpire decision is final
  
• No restrictions (leg side / off side max no.of fielders) on field 
  
• The third/fourth team(team not playing that game) in the group will be doing main umpiring duties while the batting team does leg umpire . 
  

• Two overs will be reduced in the teams innings for every 10 mins delay caused by the team

• Minimum 5 players need to be on the field in order to start a game.if both teams have >=5 players , the scheduled game will start with the available no.of players. 
  

• Your Team gets a walkover with 2 Points & WIN If the Opponent team does not have 5 or more players within the first 15 minutes after the scheduled match start time.

• Fielding teams captain can ask for a maximum of two substitute fielders from opponent team to field(if they are <9 and >=5) . it's purely opponent team's call to send their players to sub-field.

• Team captains should submit player squad(max 11 entries per team) playing the tournament for their team by 8:00 pm 7th March 2024 (Thursday) . No changes / replacement allowed in playing squad after this deadline.

• No Tie/draw games . Super overs. 

• Boundary length : We play for 50 meter straight , 45 meter backward square leg and 50 meters square and cow corner , covers. 

• In case of uneven teams on field follow our existing g VCL rule. 7 vs 9 , the game happens for 7 wickets(last man bats) . Team with 9 players will rotate their batsmen until they fall 7 wickets. 
• No alcohol beverages on ground / premises allowed during the games. The player will be dismissed from the League if found to be carrying .
