Cricket tournament for Boys & Girls

• Each team shall include 11 players + 4 substitute.
• One boys team & one girls team per college.
• No Registration fee.
• Only Physiotherapy students are eligible for participation in this tournament.
• Students are requested to bring ID card + signed eligibility letter/bonafide letter signed by principal for registration purpose.
• If a team is found to include any player who is not a Physiotherapy student then that team shall be disqualifie
• Reporting time 7:00 am on 22nd February
• The exact fixture will be circulated to Captains of all teams in the Whatsapp group on 20th February 2024

*Number of overs :-

4 overs for Boys and 3 overs for Girls per innings.

5 overs for boys and 4 overs for Girls semi Finals.

The same may be reduced due to unforeseen circumstances like weather, dew, bad light etc, .

*Bowling Rules:-Overarm bowling.

Boys - 4 overs (4 different bowlers) ,5 overs (only 1 bowler can repeat two overs)

Girls - 3 overs(3 different bowlers), 4 overs (only 1 bowler can repeat two overs)

Throw bowling is not allowed, Decision will be taken by the umpire.

Wide ball:*For girls- 1 run and ball will be counted (no extra ball)

For boys 1 run + extra ball

No ball: extra ball +free hit.

No LBW will be given

• Matches will be played with Vicky green light ball (For girls) and tennex green hard ball (for boys)
• Tournament dress code:- Players are requested to come in sportswear compulsory(Track pants, College jersey and sports shoes)
• Use of Abusive words are strictly not allowed. The team may be disqualified if anyone fails to maintain the decorum of the game.
• Umpire decision will be final. No arguments will be tolerated against the umpire. Arguments can lead to players and team disqualification.
• In case of tie, winner shall be declared on the basis of super over which will be a regular over
• All decisions of the committee of the tournament shall be final.
• The committee reserves the right to amend the rules at any point of time before/during the tournament in t spirit of the tournament.
• Last date of registration is 10 02.2024
• Profanity / consumption of alcohol / drunken team members are strictly not allowed on the field.
