SJPL 2024 Match Rules

1. Each inning is of 5 overs. Maximum 1 over per bowler allowed for 5 bowlers only.

2. Only 1 player is allowed outside the inner circle during power play. Only 2 players are allowed during non-power play overs. (If more than 3 players than no-ball will be given)

3. Misbehavior will not be tolerated. Its captain's responsibility to maintain team behavior and fair play. Umpires will have the powers to give warning to any player who misbehaves. If a player repeatedly misbehaves, he will be suspended from the tournament immediately.

4. All players should be in the Team's Kit and also in shoes compulsory.

5. 6 Players per team. 6 Players will play in a match. Complains about scoring will not be tolerated. 6. It will be mandatory for all the teams to be present on the ground 30 Mins prior to your match time

along with list of players playing in that match. 7. Winning Team will get 1 bonus point if they chase the target within 20 Balls (while chasing) or they opponent within 70% of their runs (defending).

9. In case of Tie during league matches, 1 point will be given to both teams. During knockout stage Super-over will be played.

10. Bowler to bowl the bowl from inside the box. If bowler's foot touches any line of the box, it would be a No-BALL followed by a free-hit. Bowler Bowled out the Pitch Area would be a NO-BALL Batsman can be given out only by run-out during a free-hit.

11. Fast bowling is not allowed (Max Speed Limit is 75). No-ball will be given by the umpire for the same.

12. Over shoulder high balls will be given as no-ball (without warning).

13. Umpire will take the call on the height of the ball and also speed. Argument will not be tolerated

for the above 2 points.

14. Umpires will give no-ball if fielders are talking while ball is being bowled. Also, bowlers breaking the non-striker stumps while bowling will be given as No-Ball.

15. Free-hit will be given for all types of no-ball. Field Change will not be allowed if same batsman is on strike.

16. If Ball Hit to the Upper Net and fielder take Catch then OUT. And If ball Hit to Side net and Fielder Take Catch then Not Out.

17. in league matches compulsory batting opening pair has to change. If any team fails to do the same

then 1 point will be deducted as penalty from there point table.

18. On boundaries line player not allowed on field between 2straight line. If player find then no ball will

be treated. Batsman get free hit. 19. Plastic Bat Not Allowed

Umpire's decision will be the final decision.
