✔️Only Employee of the Members company of GESIA IT Association are eligible to play.

✔️All participating Teams are requested to bring their own Cricket kits. Only balls (NIVIA SOFT tennis ball Green) will be provided by the organizers.

✔️The decision of the Umpires / Referee / Tournament Committee will be final and binding.

It would be played with Throw Bowling.

✔️The players are requested to maintain decorum and discipline during the games. The organizers reserve the sole right to stop any player / team from playing the game on disciplinary grounds without assigning any reason.

✔️No harsh or abusive language will be use in playing arena or outside at the venue.

✔️Wicketkeeping is mandatory. 

Tournament will be played on Group league-cum basis. There are 4 groups in the tournament, each with 4 teams. Each Team will be playing 3 Matches along with respective group members in the League Stage.

✔️The top 1 team in the points table from each group will go to the semi-final. The top 1 team will be decided by the points and net run rate shown on CRICHEROS.

 

 

✔️The team will be of 8 players and 2 Impact Players, which are needed to be registered before the toss in CricHeroes App

✔️The Impact Player can play in the game on behalf any other player at any point of time. But the Outgoing Player cannot come back to play in rest of the game. If the Outgoing player has completed batting, then the Impact Player cannot do Batting he can only do bowling and fielding & vice versa.

✔️Every team must be present and get themselves registered on the ground 30 minutes before the time of commencement of the match. The Toss will be done 15 mins before the Match Time.

✔️In case of a TIE, there will be Super Over be played to decide upon the result of the match.

Every team shall be given T-SHIRTS at the venue, and it is compulsory to wear those in the matches. Any player without the given t-shirts shall not be allowed to play. The basic rules for the dress would be COMPULSORY TRACK PANTS AND SPORTS SHOES. Players won’t be allowed to play in any other dress or shoes.

✔️Every team shall get a time of 25 mins to complete their quota of 8 overs. 

✔️Time out between 2 innings would be a maximum of 5 minutes.

New Batter must reach the batting crease, after the existing batter is declared out, within 2 minutes. If not, a loss of 5 runs will be declared for the batting team.

✔️All matches will be played 8 overs each, out of which 5 bowlers is a must.

✔️Overstepping from the bowling crease (front and side) shall be considered a NO-BALL. Even a waist-high full-toss shall be considered a NO-BALL. 

✔️For all kind of no ball, free hit will be awarded and only run out will be valid for a free hit.

✔️If the ball touches any of the side net or roof net, and then is caught by any fielder, it shall be considered not out. 

✔️No underarm bowling is allowed. Compulsory throw over shoulder level.

✔️A batsman will be declared out, bowled, stumped, run-out or any other way as per ICC Rules. 

✔️There will be BOWLING POWER PLAY OF FIRST 2 OVERS. During power play no fielder will be allowed to field behind predefined arena in box cricket  

✔️There will be BATTING POWER PLAY OF 1 OVER to be taken in between 3rd over to 8th over (GESIA SUPER OVER) 

✔️There will be 5 NEGATIVE RUNS when the batsman is out and run gets double in GESIA SUPER OVER

Along with the nettings, there are scoring zones where the batsman can score runs [One, Two and Three runs], and the run actually run by the batsman, are also counted [for all except for when a four or six is hit].

There will no scoring runs zone on the Top Net of the Box, only side nets will be having scoring zones, also the batsman will be given NOT OUT if the catch is caught directly after hitting the Top Net.

✔️In case of Overthrow, if the ball touches the scoring zone runs would be not counted and only those runs counted which is the run taken by batsman.

✔️The running between the wickets is from the full pitch.

✔️If the ball hits on 4 or 6 then no run outs and no extra runs would be allotted.

✔️At any moment during the match, there can be a maximum of 2 players behind the bowler. i.e. maximum two fielders on the boundary.

✔️All the ICC rules will be applied except LBW 

✔️All scoring and live streaming will be done CricHeroes Pvt. Ltd. App, and in case of tie for next round qualification, priority will be given to No of Wins, followed by NRR.
