JJPL CRICKET CUP (Leather Ball Cricket Tournament)

The tournament will be conducted on 25th, 26th Jan 2020 & 2nd Feb 2020

Rules & Regulations:

 

1)    There will be total 4 teams taking part in this tournament(List of 13 can be selected & any 11 can bat /bowl/field)

 

 

2)    Teams will play league matches of 15 overs each and will play balance 3 teams.(3 League Matches for each team)

3)    Top 2 teams will play the finals.

 

4)    All Matches will be of 15 overs with 5 bowlers bowling 3 overs max).

 

5)    No Team in any Circumstance can give Walkover, any team doing so will be fined Rs. 5000/- and also 1 point will be deducted from total Tally of points.

 

6)    2 points will be awarded to winning team & 0 to losing team in league stage. In case of Tie(Super Over in all games) or rain (organizers along with Umpires will take call).

 

7)    In qualifying round if the team stands with equal no of points then the team with better NRR will qualify for the Knock Out .The equation for working the run rate is Total no of runs scored minus total no of runs given by a playing team divided by total no of allotted overs. (For more clarity on NRR the teams can approach the umpires and the organizers before the start of the tournament).

 

8)    All teams should wear cricketing gears with white/cream track pant & T shirt provided by oraganisers.

 

 

9)    All normal cricket rules will be applicable as per ICC rules but in case of any issue umpires call will be final and organizers have no role to play.

 

10) No chuck bowling will be allowed. Umpires if feel so will take a call on the same.

 

11) Power play first 4 Overs compulsory power play (2 fielders to be allowed outside the circle) , All/Any bowler can bowl Powerplay overs

 

12) Teams have to get their own bats. Organizers will provide only balls. Each team will get a new ball for every innings.

 

13) Teams should report 30 minutes before the scheduled start. If a team arrives after the schedule start, then 1 over for every 4 minutes will be deducted for Maximum of 20 Mins for the team arriving late and if incase the team does not report within 20 mins from the start of play then the match will be awarded to the team present as walk over. In case of walk over the team present will be awarded 2 points (Refer again to Point 6 for walkover Policy).

14) No team will be allowed to change any players name filled in the app(Playing 13) after the toss.

15) Each team will be awarded 60 minutes for an innings.

16) To play a match minimum of 9 players should be available otherwise the match will be awarded as walk over to the opposite team.

17) Umpires decision has to be respected and will be final

18) Any kind of misbehavior will not be tolerated and depending on the gravity of the offence, the organizers reserve the rights to ban a particular player or Team.

19) If a Player found arguing with Captains/Umpires/Committee, Fine will be charged (Rs. 500/-) and/or may be Barred from Playing future matches, fine needs to be deposited to committee for him to play next match.

      

       21)  If a Player is not deposited cash as part of Team Fees to his respective Captain, he will not be allowed to Play.

       22) Captains need to make sure Match is played in right Spirit & ensures his team is co-operating with other Team  Members/captains. No one is allowed to speak on ground except both Captains in case of any issue.

      23) If you foresee any issue with anyone on ground, it is individual’s responsibility to bring to the Notice of Committee, rather than trying to solve the issue on their own.

 

      24) No drink and play will be allowed . Also smoking will not be allowed in the ground.

       25) Any kind of injuries during tournament, Organizers will not be reponsible , however First Aid Kits will be provided.
