Each team should provide 16 member squad before the tournament start before 05 Feb 2024 day end. Before the match starts 11 players list should be provided to umpire for every match they play which will be from 16 player list provided before tournament. Each match played will be of 10 overs. Each team will be playing 3 matches.
Team need to have either team uniform or same t-shirts. Umpires will be neutral for each match.
Playing teams have to provide a pair of cricket balls (2 balls) for their match. Umpire decision will be final decision.
Umpires from non playing will have to do umpring and make sure a fair and smooth games is carryon.
Any disputes will be resolved by team captains only along with neutral umpires. Teams with 1st and 2nd highest run rate will be qualified for final.
Teams are requested to be on time for their matches.
All the rules of Cricket will be followed except LBW, and free hit will be only for line no-ball and above waist no-ball. Power play will be for first 2 overs which mean 2 players will be oustide 30 yards cricle.
For every win, a team would get 2 points and losing team won’t get any points. Bowling each team will allow to have one bowler 2 overs max a total of 5 bowlers should be used.
If the player is absent from the field for longer than 2 over, the player shall not be permitted to bowl in that innings after his return until he has been on the field for at least the number of overs for which he was absent.
If the player is absent from the field for longer than 2 over, the player shall not be permitted to bat unless or until, in the aggregate, he has returned to the field and/or his side’s innings has been in progress for at least that amount of overs for which he has been absent or, if earlier, when his side has lost five wickets.
Minimum of 7 players are required from a team to start the match. Failure to do so would yield a walkover to the opposition team. Remaining players must arrive within 5 overs. In case of a failure only the fielded 7 would be allowed to bat.
Every match will have Man of the Match. Final winning team will be honored by winning trophy, along with runner up trophy for runner up team.
Teams are requested to be on time, failure to do so will have a penalty which is if the team is late by 20 mins 2 overs will be deducted from their batting innings. I.e. late team will play 8 overs where as oppontent team will play 10 overs.
There will not be any change in squads after the tournament starts and playing 11 should be from 16 squads provided before tournament starts.
