Registration fee:
$500 per each team to be deposited in Featherston Cricket Club account
Team Uniforms:
• Teams can only wear colored uniforms (whites not allowed), and should be consistent and tidy.
• Media and photographers will be present which will be available on the Featherston Cricket Club website and page.
Conditions:
• Our Clubroom license allows alcohol to be consumed inside the upstairs clubroom area and the adjoining balcony. Alcohol cannot be consumed on the grounds themselves, as there are deemed an alcohol free area. The South Wairarapa District Council has the right to fine us if we are in breach of our license terms.
• Please do not park inside the grounds. There is plenty of street parking available next to the grounds in Johnston Street.
• Change Rooms, Toilets and Showers are provided for every team. Please keep them tidy.
• Filtered drinking water will be available to all teams and supporters. A drinking station will be set up near the changing room entrance
• Please place rubbish in bins provided. Bins are placed at the grounds, including specific bins for glass, plastics, cans and general rubbish. We appreciate the teams and their supporters to use these as intended.
Scoring and Umpiring:
• All the matches will be scored on Cricheroes.
• Featherston Cricket club will provide the Umpires
• Batting Team to provide one person for scoring
• Scoring will be done online

RULES AND REGULATIONS
• Each match will be played with a White Kookaburra Crown Ball (156G).
• Modes of Dismissals - Bowled, Caught, Leg Before Wicket (LBW), Run out, Stumped, Obstructing the field, Hit The Ball Twice, Hit Wicket.
• Spikes not allowed.
Extras:
• Byes, Leg byes and over throws are applicable in this tournament
• One run and an extra ball will be awarded for a no ball and a wide ball. Every no ball will be awarded with a free hit.
Player Restrictions:
• A team may consist of 12 players. 11 fielders only allowed to field at any one time. One player in the team shall not be permitted to bat, this player is to be nominated at the toss. Unlimited interchange of fielders from the 12 players shall be allowed.
• Transfer of players between teams is not allowed. A player is allowed to play only for a team.
Live Draw:
• The fixtures will be done during a live draw
• The event will be live on the Featherston Cricket Facebook page
Schedule & Game:
• Teams should report 15 minutes before the start of the play.
• If any team fails to reach in scheduled time, the toss will go in favor of the opposite team and the late reporting team will lose 1 over in 1st 10 minutes, 20 mins 2 overs and they will be disqualified after 30 minutes.
• After the toss, the fielding team should set the fielding positions immediately to avoid any delay to begin the match.
• Teams are advised to avoid any unnecessary delay before or during the game to maintain our time schedule.
• Organizing committee will reserve full authority to intervene in such cases off field and umpires will have full authority to intervene on field.
• Each captain should nominate his playing XI+12th Man before the toss. No player can be changed after the nomination without the consent of the opposing captain.
• New Ball will be provided for each innings. In case of loss or damaged ball the umpire will replace the ball.
• Umpires decisions will be final throughout the tournament. Any sort of misconduct by any players will result in direct suspension.
• Organizers reserve the right to change the venue, date time and reduce the overs of matches at short notice.
• A team must be ready to play two consecutive matches in a day.
Substitution:
• No bowler can bowl immediately after coming off the field after substitution. He will be able to bowl only after taking the field for next two overs.
• Substitute runners are only allowed if a batsman gets injured during a particular match and will need the consent of the opposite captain.
Super Over:
• In case of a draw in the knockout stage of a league, ‘Super Over’ will come into play.
• Each team will have to bowl one over called ‘Super Over’. Only 3 batsmen will be allowed to bat the entire Super Over and 2 batsmen have to be given out to end the one over innings.
• In case, scores are tied at the end of the Super Overs, the team that lost fewer wickets will be adjudged the winner, if that’s the same then it will be another super over.
Umpiring:
• Umpires are required to check the pitch, crease, wickets and make sure everything is as expected before the toss.
• Umpire’s make sure the game starts as scheduled.
• If a game is stopped in between due to any reason, umpires reserve the right to take the decision (rain, bad light etc.).
Overs & Bowling limit:
• 20 Overs per innings.
• A bowler can bowl maximum of 4 overs
Power Play & Field Restrictions:
• A maximum of 2 fielders can be outside the 30 yard circle and bowling powerplay should be 1st six overs of the innings.
• After the power play, a minimum of 4 fielders should be inside the fielding circle.
• Only 5 fielders can field on the leg side at any point of time (bowler & keeper are not considered).
Point System:
• Each team will play 2 League Matches in a Day, teams should be ready to play two consecutive matches.
• Winner gets 2 points, the team with the highest points and NRR will be in the number 1 spot after league stages and teams with lower points/NRR will be ranked accordingly.
• Top 4 teams based on the points and NRR Goes through. Semi Finals and Finals will be played on the same day.
Serious Misconduct:
• On-field misconduct will be dealt with by the umpires. Their decisions are final.
• Players or supporters who are bringing the game into disrepute by their off field behaviour, will be asked to leave the grounds by the organisers, who also have the right impose a participation ban on the team or teams in question for the next tournament.
Weather:
• Umpires will take the final decision to stop the match.
• If Majority of the day is rained out it will be scheduled to be a reserve day. If it rains after one or two matches in a day then the 3 teams playing on that day will be given one point each. The Organizers will have the full right to decide this depending on the situation.
• If the whole week is rained out, or the Finals Day is rained out it will be moved to the Next Week.
• Until and unless the team hears from the organizer teams should reach the ground and not assume that the match is called off.
