•  New Rules & Regulations ACL 2024 :

Dates 20/21st January 

1st Match will start at Sharp 7 pm on Saturday  20th Jan,with a maximum 15 mins buffer time ,in worst case scenario if either team is unable to gather his entire team he has an option to play with 5 players but team will not be allowed to play with 4 players .,if either playing team doesn't turn up ( Other team will be given a By )

League Matches will have 2 points each, Team with Maximum points will play Further.

In Case of Same points ,net run rate will be considered and team will advance  basis the same.

Every Match in the Legue Game will be of 6 Overs, Only 1 bowler will Bowl one over each . No Single Bowler can Bowl both the Super Overs.

Final will be of 8 overs wherein 2 bowlers can bowl Max 2 overs .

In ACL Between the 1st & 3rd over batting Super over can be taken by the Batting team, Between 4th to 6th Over Bowling Super over can be taken by the Bowling Team, No bowler can bowl both the Super over ( Means Super Over has to be Bowled by different bowlers ).

In Batting Super Over if the Bowl goes out it will not be Considered as Out , however Cricketing Rules Apply , Everything is Double in batting Super over for eg, if a batsman hits a Six ,12 runs will be added .

There is an Amendment in the laws only 3 batsman can take the privilege of -2, however it will be only taken in the order which the batsman comes to bat for instance Batsman A takes the strike and Batsman B is at non strike then they are assigned numbers as 1 & 2 respectively. Batting team  has to decide who can use the -2 it has be odd ( i.e 1/3 /5 ) or even (2,4,6 ) , both standing batsman cannot take the benefits of -2.

In Bowling Super Over , if the Batsman is out ,-5 runs will be deducted from the Score card ,also additionally if the Bowler bowls a dot Ball -2 will be Deducted from the Batting team.Herein If the Ball goes out it and if the batsman has used the -2 option as per above he will be declared as out ( -5 -2 ).

Ideally Batting Super Over is to assist the Batting Team to Score more runs and Bowling Super over is to Help Bowling team restrict the Opposition.

If the Ball goes Out it will be considered as Out, however only 3 batsman has 1 chance ( But the Scoreboard should reflect 2 runs ,not every player has 1 chance, it will be as per the rules stated above as per the order decided by the Batting Captain i.e odd / even

Fast Bowling /  Negative Bowling targeted at body ( Around Chest height high or above Shoulders ) which is not ideal for play will not be allowed, and it will be given as No Ball, ( No Ball is not a Free Hit here, just 1 run will be added ),,No Warning will be given to a Bowler ; if a Bowler bowls 2 No balls ( that is 2 fast balls in an over , 5 runs will be awarded to the batting / Opposite team, No dispute or Argument will be entertained with the Leg Umpire or Umpire by the Bowling team / Captain, Rest all the rules are of Standard Cricket., Last Batsman can bat but in case of Run out both Sides can be thrown.

Amendment in the rules has been put in place to ensure there is a contest between Bat & Ball and to make the Event an Even contest .

In case while bowling the ball hits the rough / damaged part of the Pitch it would be declared as Dead Ball.

Umpire Decision will be Final and No intervention or Argument of the Captain's playing the game will be entertained, in the event of any Dispute Decision of the Committee Members present will be considered as Final.

 • Possible Scenarios in ACL

Group - A 

All team won 1 match against each other - 

Each team will get 2 points. 

Group B

Team 1 got - 4 point

Team 2 got - 2 point 

Team 3 got - 0 point

In this scenario out of total 5 teams

Only one team got 4 pts then it will be Top 1 

*But 4 team got - 2 points Each*

Then again you have to select balance 3 team basis *Run Rate*.

Another Scenario where every team has two point after league match..
