Rules and Regulations of RPCL 2024

This year RPCL will be played group wise. Both groups will have 4 teams and play one match with all other teams in the same group (each team will play three matches) top two rank teams will move forward for semi finals. Nockout round matches will be as follows
Semi finals
Group A Rank 1 team vs Group B Rank 2 Team
Group A Rank 2 Team vs Group B Rank 1 Team 
For Second Runner up 
Loser of Semi Final 1 vs Loser of Semi Final 2
Final 
Winner of Semi Final 1 vs Winner of Semi Final 2 

All the league matches will be of 4 overs a side, Semi Final and Final and 3rd Rank Match will be of 5 overs (if time permits). One bowler can bowl one over only. Minimum 4 bowlers are must in all the league matches. And 5 bowlers are must after that.

In case of tie, each team will be awarded equal points. Super over will be played only in semi finals, third rank match and Finals, in league matches there will be no super over.

For scores, team ranking, man of the match and other calculations we will be using “Cricheroes” app. and its decision will be final.

Side arm bowling not allowed and will be given 'No ball' (umpire will directly take a call, batsman's objection not required).

Only members of the societies of REGENCY and PARK, Panacea, Global Park and who are residing in society are permitted to take part in the tournament. Member can play only from the society he resides.

Any player found drunk (alcohol) will be barred from playing. 

There will be a new addition of rule this year First over of the match will be power play and only two players will be allowed behind bowling crease (line as per turf) 

Free Hit on No ball is scrapped for this year means there will be no free hit on a ball followed by No ball. 

Stumping will be “Not out” on No ball

Prize money for teams and Individuals will be declared subsequently as per availablility of the funds. Trophies will be given for First, Second and Third Ranking teams. Individual trophies for Best batsman, Best bowler, best fielder and MVP of the tournament.

Note : Committee reserves rights to Change/Withdraw/Introduce any Rule or Regulation at any point of time before or during the Tournament.
