General Rules :

 

  • The Umpire's decision will be final, and everyone must respect it.
  • A new ball will be used per inning.
  • In the case of a tie, a super over (1 over) will determine the result.
  • Misconduct will result in a deduction of 5 runs.
  • There will be 5 overs per side, with all fresh overs, i.e., 1 over per bowler.
  • 6 overs per side in Semi-finals and Final with one of the five bowlers permitted to bowl a 2 overs.
  • Rule marked (*) will not be applicable for female member.

 

Batting Rules :

 

  • Runner not allowed.
  • Last man not allowed.
  • Fiber bats are not allowed.
  • A shot hitting the upper net is not out.
  • A free hit will be awarded after every No Ball.
  • Byes, Leg Byes, and overthrows will count as runs.
  • Out if a shot hitting the upper net is caught without touching the side net.
  • 6 Runs will be counted if the ball touches the upper net and goes directly to the boundary.
  • A new batsman will always come at the striker's end, except in the case of a runout.
  • LBW is not out.
  • A batter cannot be stumped off a no-ball.
  • At least one of the first three batters must be a female team member.
  • NO BALL & WIDE BALL on the same ball, it will be counted as a NO BALL.
  • If the batsman goes out of the crease and the ball is bowled above the batsman's head, it will be a NO BALL.
  • In the event that a batsman is run out on a no-ball/wide ball, one run will be awarded, and the ball will be considered valid. No free hit will be there.
  • If the ball goes outside the turf, except the boundary side, it will be counted as 1 run, and the strike will not be changed.

 

 

Bowling Rules :

 

  • A bowler is required to bowl within a designated box at the bowler's end. Running while bowling is prohibited. The bowler must be standing within the box before bowling. If any part of the bowler's leg touch the backline, sideline or frontline, it will be a no ball.(*)
  • A catch taken by a fielder on human touch, that is either the umpire, non-striker batsman or his bat, is considered out.
  • Side-arm and fast bowling are not allowed. If such an incident occurs, a first-time warning will be given, and the ball will be dead. Subsequently, it will be a no ball.
  • If the batsman is outside the crease, a no ball can only be called if the ball is above the head.
  • The following criteria are for no ball, and for every no ball, the next ball is a free hit:

 

    • Full toss above waist height.
    • Two bounces before the batsman hits or the crease.(*)
    • Pace ball (after warning).
    • Sidearm (after warning).
    • Failure to inform the umpire of a side or change. (*)
    • Fails to inform about the change of keeper.
    • If the ball bounces before or on the NO line.(*)
    • If the wicketkeeper collects the ball before the stumps

 

  • Hit wicket will be not out on a no ball and free hit.
  • On the free hit delivery, a batsman will be given out only for run-out.
  • One over out of the first two must be bowled by a female team member.
  • If the wicketkeeper collects the ball before the stumps and subsequently executes a stumping, the batsman will not be declared out. Instead, the delivery will be a no-ball, and it will be a free hit.

 

Fielding Rules :

 

  • Three players max on the boundary.
  • Up to five players behind non-strike stumps, including boundary fielders.
  • Keeper is mandatory.
  • If the stumps are broken first (even if the stumps have not fallen down), the runout will be counted only if any of the three stumps pulled out of the ground.
