General information:- 

1. The first round will be robin round where each team will play one match each against every other team. 
2. ⁠If we have participation of 6 or more teams then extra teams will be allowed only if number of teams are even numbered. 
3. ⁠If we have participation of 6, 8 or 10 teams then teams will be divided into two groups for robin round. 
4. ⁠If there is only 1 group then top 2 will play directly finals. 
5. ⁠if there are 2 groups then top 2 will play semi finals against other group teams and the winners of semi finals will play final. 
6. ⁠The umpires will be invited either from LLM or alumni of the department to have a fair approach to the game. 
7. ⁠each team should carry there own set of bats. 
8. ⁠stumps and fresh ball for each match will be provided on ground. 
9. ⁠Detailed rules of the games and matches schedule will be shared a couple of days before the tournament. 
10. ⁠The participation fee for 1 team will be 2000/- Rs which shall be utilised in ground rent, prizes and banners. 
11. ⁠if there is a deficit of funds then same shall be conveyed to the participation teams and participating teams should oblige for the same in the spirit of the game. 

We invite all students to come forward to participate, watch, cheer, enjoy and be a part of this tournament to set an example for such future events.
