There are a few changes in the tournament format 

As discussed today for the  upcoming tournament for 2023-2024, which we are going to start from 28thJanuary 24. 

This time, there are 08 teams and each team will be playing 14 league matches after league matches, table top 4 teams will be playing semi final as mentioned 1 vs 2 and 3 vs 4. The winner between 1 vs 2 will directly go to the final and the loser will be playing Eliminator match with the winner from 3 vs 4. Then the winner from the Eliminator will play the final.

Every team has to pay 8500/- entry fees for the tournament as we have added 7 league matches, so I have to place order for extra balls and extra medal. I have already received 7500/- from the teams so now only an additional 1000/- needs to pay.

******  RULES FOR THE MATCHES******

It seems all teams are aware of the rules as discussed on Sunday, but Let me once again clear all the rules. All International rules are applicable. If I Missed out any major rules please let me know. If any team has any questions related to the below rules please let us know by 31st December, we will get those rules clear.

1.  The most important and compulsory rule needs to be updated all 18 players names with their latest front face photo in Cricheros app. If a photo is not updated that player will not be allowed to Play in playing 11 teams, and also if the player is not in 18 players squad that player will not be allowed to bat or ball in the tournament he can only do fielding. This is the captain's responsibility to check and get this thing done. If we find any team without following, that team will be panelized. 

2.  Umpire calls will be the last and final call. No team will argue against any umpires call during matches. Umpires are neutral from different teams. If any team finds misbehaving with the umpires call that team will be given 1st warning and 2nd time that team will be penalized with 1 over less or 1 over run deduction. Only the Captain has the right to talk in case of any dispute.

3. Every team has to give 5 players names on Saturday for the upcoming matches, who will do the Umpiring during the tournament on Sunday. Requested to give the names who can concentrate in the umpiring and take the correct decision.

4. There is LBW and over throw runs. There are no leg bye's or bye's runs and wide runs. There are no extra runs for the No- ball, but only runs will be counted which are scored by the bat in No- ball. Every No-ball will be a free hit for the next ball. Only run out will be counted. Also do scoring of wide and No ball in the app, as I will be doing settings for that in the app, so no extra runs will be counted while scoring.

5. If there is a tie match during league matches 1-1 points will be given to both the teams and if any match is stopped in between by the ground staff then we will use the DLS system as per the match and the final call will be taken by the members of the tournament no other players will get involved.

6. Both the team will get only starting 4 over buffers for the players to get on field if his name is in playing 11 for an ongoing match. After completing 4 over that player will not be allowed to bat or bowl in that match. He can only do Fielding for his team. This is the captain's responsibility to check.

7. No chucking is allowed during bowling, if this is found by any of the umpires, that bowler will be given 1st warning and 2nd time he will be banned from bowling in any of the upcoming matches. 

8. Every team has to give 3 players names to me, so that I can give them access to do scoring in the app and admin access. No book scoring will be accepted in any condition. The access will be given to all the team members whose name is given for scoring access, so both the team can coordinate and do the scoring.

9. Two pitch balls will be counted as a No ball. If the bowler bowls the ball and the 2nd pitch, pitching in the creas then it will be a legal delivery.

10. Every team has to get new 3 stumps, as this time we are going to use Bails, so we will require proper stumps.
