Other Details

The tournament will be played on a League cum Knock out basis.

Every team must play a minimum of 4 matches and after that if they qualify they will move to the
Semi-Finals and so on.

All the matches will be officiated by neutral umpires.

The players can carry their playing equipment. Cricket balls & company cricket kit will be provided
by the Organizers.

The organizers will not be responsible for loss of any equipment/money/any other personal
belongings.

The Tournament Committee comprises of the following:
o Officiating Umpires of the tournament
o Organizing Committee of “AMETEK Instruments India Pvt. Ltd.”

All the teams should report at least 30 minutes before the start of match.

In case a team reports later than 10 minutes from the scheduled time, walkover will be given to the
other team.

The Tournament Committee's decisions shall be final.

During the match, the umpire’s decision will be final, and no protest shall be entertained on their
decision.

In case a team intends to change/replace the name of player(s) from the original list of players, it
must be informed to the Tournament Committee before the match citing the reason for the same. It is
up to the Tournament Committee to allow the change or not.

Both playing teams shall declare the list of the playing 11 before the toss.

The Tournament Committee reserves the right to add, change or amend any rule regarding the
tournament at any point of time with prior notice to the respective teams.

The officiating umpires during the match have full authority and discretion to handle situations like
walkover, other unavoidable circumstances, play abandonment and any dispute.

The Tournament committee will not be responsible for any other dispute not mentioned in the
scope of the tournament.

The Tournament committee will have the authority to postpone/cancel/amend the schedule of the
tournament at any given point of time but with a prior notice to the respective teams.
Tournament Format: The tournament will be played on league-cum-knockout basis. All
league matches will be played for 10 overs a side and final match will be played for 12 overs a
side.

Single Wicket: Tournament will be played Single Wicket, that is, the batsman will play at one end
and after the completion of the over, batsmen will change ends, whereas, three stumps will be placed
at the both the ends.

Time of an Inning: Teams will be given 40 minutes to complete their allotted 10 overs. After 45
minutes, umpires can take the call of awarding 1 run per 1-minute penalty. No Drink breaks are given
during the innings.

Reporting Time: The full composition of a team must be present 10 minutes before the start of their
game. Failing to do so will result in an automatic loss of toss for the team in question. In case both
teams are short of players, then the one with more players present on the ground, at the start of the
game, will be declared toss winners.

Bowlers: Minimum 5 players need to bowl per inning (one can bowl maximum of 3 overs).

Balls: For consistency, only Red Vicky cricket balls will be used for all games.

Playing kit: The teams playing the match must wear the appropriate cricketing outfits.

Equipment: External protective equipment is optional. Spikes will not be allowed as they can damage
the pitch. Neither bowler nor batsman can wear spikes during tournament.

Field Restrictions: Maximum of 5 fielders can be outside the inner circle. Maximum of 5 fielders are
allowed on the leg side of the batsman at any given point of time during the inning. Any ball bowled
with the violation of field restrictions will be awarded as no ball even after the delivery is completed
and the ball is dead already.

Fielding Substitutions: Fielding Substitutions may be allowed only in case of injuries or any
unavoidable circumstances and only if the umpire and the other team captain agrees.

Bowling Guard: Bowler must declare to the umpire his bowling guard before his each over.

Batting Runner: Batting runner is not allowed in any case.

Switch Hits by Batsman: In case the batsman switches the side while batting, both the sides will be
evaluated with the dimension with offside wide for that delivery.

LBW: No player will be adjudged Leg before Wicket out.

Byes: Byes and overthrows are possible means of scoring runs.

Leg-byes: Leg byes are not possible means of scoring runs.

Overstepping while Bowling: A no ball shall be declared if the front foot is completely outside the
popping crease or the return crease, whether in the air or grounded. If the bowler bowls with any part
of the back foot touching the return crease, a no ball shall be declared.

Powerplay: During the first 2 overs of an innings a maximum of 2 fielders are allowed outside the 30-
yard circle.

No-Balls: A no ball shall be declared if the ball goes above the batsman’s shoulder. Full toss ball
above waist height of batsman shall be declared as a no ball. A no ball shall be declared if the bowler
breaks the non-striker's wicket during the act of delivery. Upon declaration of a no ball, the next ball
will be awarded as a free hit.
