Each team shall comprise of 8 playing members out of a total pool of 11 registered players.
Every match shall comprise of 2 innings of 8 overs each; 1 inning for each team.
A team would have to bat their full quota of 8 overs even if they surpass the opponent's score.
A maximum of 4 players [which includes the bowler] shall be allowed beyond the 2 run zone.
The opening batting pair shall bat for the first 2 overs after the completion of which they will be replaced by the next pair and so on, till the 8 overs are exhausted and all the 4 pairs have had their turn in batting.
The side netting has a 1 bonus run zone, which covers the area between the batting crease and halfway line. And another 2 bonus run zone, which continues from the half way line to the corner of the playing arena. The front netting is a 4 bonus runs zone if hit after the ball bounces off the ground and 6 bonus runs when the ball hits it on the full. The bonus runs are added with the runs scored by the batsmen through running between the wickets. 1 OR 2 Number of Bonus runs will be awarded on the basis of whichever Bonus Run Zone takes the first hit of the ball.To
get 1 or 2 bonus runs at least 1 run should be completed by running. Mandatory running is not required in case a “4 OR 6” is hit.
No bonus runs will be awarded for hitting the roof netting.
A catch off any net is declared out and 3 runs would be deducted from the batting side. The batsman however shall continue to bat. The rule however does not apply for a catch off the front net when a 6 is hit.
Running between the wickets is done between the batting crease and the halfway point on the pitch. The runners crease is marked at the half way point and the runner stands at this crease. All complete runs will therefore mean a player runs only half the pitch.
Run out is only at batting end. No run out at bowler’s end. A batsman cannot be given out lbw. In case of run outs the quarter line will be considered as half line of running area and decisions of umpire will be based on the same.
At least 4 bowlers should ball maximum 2 over each.
A wide ball shall count as 1 run for the batting team and the ball would not be counted.
No ball is penalized with 1 run apart from the runs scored off the bat or extras and the ball would not be counted. No Free Hit is awarded in this format.
Any delivery which after pitching passes or would have passed over and above the shoulder height of the striker standing upright at the crease or any delivery which passes or would have passed on the full above waist height of the striker standing upright at the crease would be deemed to be a no ball.
Over throws : only Runs scored by running between the wickets will be added to the team score.
Important : The Non Striker can not leave his crease until the ball is released by the bowler. In case it happens the ball will be counted but “0” runs will be added to score as penalty.
Direct Throw ball is not allowed. All bowlers must do Full arm Bowling.
A dismissal will mean a deduction of 3 runs but the batsman continues to bat
The umpire's decision is final on the field and cannot be contested. Umpires can consult with Match Refree.
All teams and reserves should be attired in proper and identical team uniform.
Sports shoes with rubber soles is a must.
Approximate time per match is 45 minutes.
In case of a tie, super over will be bowled. This is applicable only for knockout stages / tournament..
Rules & Regulations for Points Table
Teams will get 2 points of every win.
In case, scores are equal, the team with lesser number of wickets lost will be declared winner.
In case, scores and number of wicket lost are equal, the match will declared as tied and super
over will be bowled.
If there are teams with equal points and equal wins in the tournament then in such case:
a) The team with the higher net run rate in the tournament will be placed in the higher position (excluding super over).
b) If the net run rate of the teams is still equal, then the team with the lowest number of wickets fallen in the league matches in which result were achieved will be placed in the higher position.
c) If net run rate and number of fallen wickets are still equal, then the team with highest number of 6 hit in the league matches will be placed in higher position.
d) If net run rate and number of fallen wickets are still equal, then the team with highest number of 4 hit in the league matches will be placed in higher position.
e) In the highly unlikely event that teams can not be separated by the above this will be done by toss
All teams captain & co-ordinator are requested to attend the presentation ceremony of the tournament. All other team members are also welcome.

In case any team fails to report on time, the opponent team can be declared as the winner of that match. The decision of organisers regarding the same will final and abiding for all the teams.
