Rules & Regulations:

There is one group consisting of 8 teams, each team plays with all the other teams & post 7 league matches the top 4 teams in the points table qualifies for the Semi Final (1 vs 4 & 2 vs 3).

# Regular T20 rules applicable for all matches except LBW.

# One neutral umpire for all the matches & square leg Umpire should be from the batting side.

# One player can play for only one team in the tournament. Current HCA league players are not allowed. If it comes to the organizer’s notice that a team has a player who has played for another team / current HCA league in the tournament, then the team will be penalized. The penalty could range from awarding runs to the opponent, reducing overs or awarding wins for opposition. This is completely the organizer’s discretion.

# One warning in an innings for a team is mandatory for Mankad Out.

# Team has to be in the ground before 10.30AM & 2:00PM and additional 15 minutes grace time will be given. If ground is available match has to start by sharp11.00Am & 2:30 PM failing which overs will be deducted. This will be followed strictly since we are very restricted on the ground reservation and availability. Any team who is late then overs will be reduced. This would be decided by the Umpire and organisers.

# Each & every team must & should start the match by 11:15AM & 2:45 PM with minimum 8 players on the ground and only 6 overs time limit will be given for the players who are late.

# Teams should provide their playing XI and Super sub player before the toss, if a player / Super sub doesn't arrive by the 6th over of the first innings he will be forfeited from the Playing XI and no replacement will be allowed after.
Substitution is allowed within the 16 members squad only.

# If Player got Injured / Retired hurt in any condition he has to come last wicket to bat Again.
*No BY RUNNER is allowed - If an Injury happens during the match then a straight umpire will take the decision to provide the By Runner or not.*

# If two or more teams end up with same number of points after the league round, their position in the table will be decided by the following precedence. This is important and very likely to happen in this tournament.

# Team with the BEST run-rate will go through.

# It is very rare or quite impossible for two teams ending up with the same run-rate. But under the very rare scenario of two teams ending up with the same run-rate, the team which had lost less number of wickets in the league matches will be placed higher than the team which had lost more wickets.

*SUPER OVER:*
Super Over is applicable only in Knock Out Games.

*TIE BREAKING METHOD*
If the result of the League Match is Tie then 1 point to each team.

*INTERRUPTIONS AND UNEXPECTED STOPS:*

# If both the teams are on ground and match cannot be played under any un-avoidable conditions such as rain then the points will be shared. This rule will not be applicable for Knock out matches.

# If it rains before teams reach the venue and the ground condition is unplayable then the same round of matches will be played next week.

# If any interruptions occur in league matches due to rain or bad light and the 2nd Innings is already started and bowled 10 overs or more, then the winner will be declared as per DLS method available on cricheroes - this decision to be taken by the Umpire & the organizer. Important note: do not apply DLS method in between the over, complete the over & only then apply DLS method, this is very important.

# ONLY the Neutral Umpires of that match have the right to declare if a match cannot be continued. The batsman can only appeal if he thinks he cannot see the ball or appeal for other unplayable conditions but if the Umpire thinks otherwise and request that play shall be continued, the match MUST be continued. If not, the team who do not want to play will forfeit the match and declared to have lost the match.

# Also, if a team misbehaves on the field such as abuse a player/ umpire or indulge in any activities that may cause unnecessary problems, the Umpires / Organiser have the right to STOP the match at any time and declare the Winners.
# Again, anytime if the Umpires cannot make the decision, organizers will step up and make the decision.

*SCHEDULE:*

# All league matches schedule will be given in one shot and there won't be any further changes allowed in the fixtures.

# All matches will be scheduled on Sundays afternoon (11:00am & 2:30pm slot).

*Team Squad & Other details :*

*# 16 members squad to be shared to the organizer & once submitted no changes will be entertained. Last date of submission is 07-Dec-23.*

*# If the team is not available then they need to pay the full amount of ground and also the opposite team will be declared as a winners.*

*# On every match day teams will be equally divided with ground fees, Umpires Fee & balls charges. Captains are requested to pay this amount on the same day before leaving the ground to any of the organizers.*

# Matches will be played with quality white balls.*

# Player of the match/MOM will be awarded for each & every match.*

# Winners/Runner Up, Best Batsman, Best Bowler, Best Fielder & MVP of the tournament are also in the list of Rewards and Recognition.*
