Hard tennis ball (Tennex) tournament - 10 over format.

The team squad and photos shall be uploaded to Cric Hero’s app.

A player can play/represent only one team in this whole tournament. Players representing more than one team shall be disqualified from the tournament.

Each Team (Captain/Player) shall be responsible for their Team safety, snacks, cricket gear, and cleanliness of their respective grounds.

Each innings shall be played 10 overs each and the time constraint for a single innings shall be 40 minutes and a maximum of 5 Minutes extension of time with a single break of 5 minutes.

To avoid innings / Match delays, we request the batting team to make sure the next batsman is ready, and the bowling team avoids ball-by-ball discussions and does not delay getting the ball, in case of a boundary.

To start a match 11 players are required for each team.

A minimum of 5 bowlers shall be used for each innings. (i.e.,5X2, Max. 2 overs for a bowler)

Leg side maximum 5 fielders are allowed during the normal course of play. (Excluding bowler and keeper), If it is not followed, consider it as a NO-BALL without a Free Hit. 

There will be no power play, a mandatory 3 players should be available inside the circle.

The next team to be responsible for Umpiring & scoring. 

Decisions made by the umpires shall be final; If there is any dispute, the umpires and organizing committee decisions will be final - “Cricket is a gentleman’s game, Please be with a Sports Manship”.

International Cricket Rules shall be applicable, In case of super over.

All standard cricketing rules and Extra runs for No ball, Wide, Bye, leg bye & overthrow shall be considered; Except –LBW.

Free hits shall be considered for NO balls.

Verbal or physical abuse and any sort of rude behavior inside the venue are strictly offensive. The organizer will exercise immediate suspension on players/teams behaving offensively. On suspension of a player, the team will not be allowed to bring in a replacement for the player.

Misconduct or walk-away from the ground during playtime will lead to penalties up to disqualification.

Every player of a team must adhere to a fixed dress code (short pants and slippers/chappals are restricted)

Foul language on the field during play or misbehaving with the umpires will result in the player being suspended from playing the current match or/and the next match, or even the tournament. 

Except for the playing members and umpires, no other members can enter the field during playtime.

The Bowler must Bowl Over-ARM, Chucking and pelting will not be permitted and after being called once the offending bowler will be suspended from bowling in the match by the umpire, all deliveries called will be deemed No ball, Continuous recurrences will result in the bowler being disallowed from bowling in the tournament. (Captains should make sure players are selected with the right action, there is no room for arguments once the chucking is identified).

If the bowler changes the side of the wicket from which he bowls without notifying the umpire considered as NO ball 

If more than 5 fielders are on the leg side during the normal course of play will consider as NO Ball 

In case of a catch near the boundary line, the fielding captain should ensure the fielder stays at the catching position so that the umpire can verify the claimed catch.
