THE 140, RRCC own version of famous The 100 tournament started in England.
The Rules (Converted to suit RRCC formats)
The Intervals :
• there are two innings, each will be lasting 105 minutes separated by a 10-minute interval
• if the first innings is completed before the scheduled time of the interval, the interval takes place immediately
• each team shall bat for 140 balls unless all out earlier
The Innings :
• a match consists of one innings per side, each limited to a maximum of 140 balls
• in a standrard match of RRCC Four bowlers may bowl max 20 balls and three bowlers may ball max 15 balls in an innings. These number of balls may keep varying as per the number of official bowers in the match as per the standard procedure
The over :
• an over consists of five balls
• a bowler shall not be allowed to bowl more than 2 consecutive over (10 Balls)
No ball
• the penalty for a no ball is two runs
• the delivery following a no ball shall be a free hit
The fielder :
• there shall not be more than 5 fielders on the leg side
• for the first six (1st powerplay) overs, no more than two fielders are permitted to be outside the 30-yard circle. The last six (2nd powerplay) overs, no more than 5 fielders are permitted to be outside the 30-yard circle.
Retired out :
A batter can be retired out after 10 ball on captain descretion and will be sent out to bat again toward end.
