HARYANA HURRICANES LABOR WEEKEND T20 CRICKET TOURNAMENT 2023 RULES.

22 – 23 October, Miramar Park and Kilbirnie Park.

• 20 over games, 6 over powerplay.
• The top two teams on the table will play the Final at 2 pm, Miramar Park 2A.
• When scores are tied, super over will decide the winner.
• White ball Kookaburra white balls will be available with the umpires before the start of each inning.
• Captains must ensure teams wear consistent uniform to reflect teams’ ethos/culture.
• No white uniforms as the games will be played with white balls.
• Standard NZC T20 rules and regulations apply.
• One official warning in presence of neutral official umpire before attempting or appealing for Mankad.
• Match umpires’ decision will be final.
• Respect is central to the Spirit of Cricket therefore respect your captains, team-mates, opponents, and the authority of the umpires.
• Leg umpires to be provided by the batting side.
• Scoring will be done via CricHeroes app.
• Captains must provide the complete 15-member squad including names of two team members for admin and scoring purposes at least 7 days prior to the game.
• Every team is allowed 1 super sub for each game.
• The Super sub can either bat or bowl/field but not both and must be named to the umpire before the match.
• If a team is not ready by the time, opponent will be given walk over. Therefore, please make sure you stick to the schedule.
• Strictly no abusive language to be used between players or opponents. Captains must take responsibility for players’ behavior.
• Any over sledging, personal comments, aggression will not be tolerated and shall be met with a warning and/or a penalty.
• Penalty shall be decided by the umpire.
• Penalties could be 5 runs awarded to opponent or player banned for 1 match, or rest of the tournament.
• Reserve day is 29th October.
• Water and bananas as snacks will be provided to each team.
• Bathroom facilities are available nearby.
