WIPRO SWISS CRICKET TOURNAMENT RULES
Teams Rules:
1. There will be 12 teams participating in the tournament
2. Teams will be divided into 4 groups of 3 teams each (viz. Group A,B,C & D)
3. Fixtures and schedule:
• Each team in a particular group will play against other 2 teams in the league stage.
• The Top Team from each group will go to semi-finals.
• Winners of both semi-finals will play the “Finals”
• Schedule and fixtures will be drawn with all the captains and organizers.
4. Each team can have a squad of 15 but playing will be 11 (1 Female player mandatory in playing 11)
5. All players must be either Wipro employee or clients (no external vendors/Competitors strictly)
6. All players must be registered in the “Cricheroes” app by their captains.
a. Registration link for the teams will be provided to the respective teams shortly.
b. It’s the Captain’s responsibility to ensure every player is registered.
7. A In case of a tie in the league stages each teamwould get 1 point each. player who has played in one team is not allowed to play inanother team.- No Exceptions at any cost
8. This tournament would be played with Green Tennis ball.
9. Each innings would start with a new ball.
a. In case a ball is being lost/broken before two over’s of an innings, new ball would be issued.
b. If lost after two overs of an innings, old ball [used] wouldbe issued.
10. League matches would be of 6 overs, Semi-finals and Finals will be 8 overs a side. However, Total overs to be bowled in any match may be changed by the organizers in consultation with umpires & captains, if the need so arises due to bad weather or any such eventuality which is beyond human control.
