Rules and Regulations for upcoming Millennium Independence Cup-2023

                                                     

1. The Tournament is Millennium Independence Cup-2023, Organised by MSCA, ABUJA played at NCF Turf Pitch, Commencing from 20th AUG to 27th AUG.

2. Three Teams will be participating in the tournament.

3. Each team will play single match against other two teams.

4. Top two teams will play finals 

5. Each match is played 15 overs,(white leather ball) with 4 overs of powerplay.

6. Each bowler can bowl maximum of three overs.

7. Online scoring will be done on cricheros app

8. All the matches are played only on Sundays. 

9. All the teams should reach ground by 7:15 am for National Anthem. Captains should take responsibility of their respective team reaching on time.

10. At least 7 players must present for the game to start.

11. First Match starts by 7:40 am. Any team fails to reach before the scheduled time team wil be penalized with reduction in overs.

12. All the rules ( eg: no ball, wides, freehits etc are as per ICC Rules).

13. In case of tie, the match will be decided by Super over.

14. Umpires decision will be final. In case of any dispute or conflict only captains are allowed to speak with Umpires who inturn can consult core committee if required.

15. Captains are responsible to avoid any misbehaviour on the field such as abuse of other players, umpires or indulge any activity that may cause issues.

16. Each player must pay NGN 5000 to respective captain, and captain should deposit the money to the club account.

17. Awards Include : Man of the Match for Final, Best Batsman, Best Bowler, Player of the Tournament, Runners up and Winning Team Trophy.

18. MSCA does not assume the responsibilities for any kind of injuries for players in connection with the tournament or other activities.
