1) Organizers

1.01 The Tournament is Angel Premier League (APL) 2023 in association PARMAR GREENS.

1.02 The Organizing Committee with contact details will be provided along with the Matches Schedule.

2) Tournament Format

2.01 There will be 6 teams participating in the Tournament, Playing against each other in a league format

2.02 Top 4 Teams from the League group will proceed to Qualifier. Eliminator & Final.

2.03 From League Group Table 1^st and 2^nd position team will play 1^st qualifier & winner will proceed in final.

Table 3^rd & 4^th position teams will play 2^nd qualifier & the winner will proceed to the eliminator.

The eliminator will be played between the loser of the 1^st qualifier & winner of the 2^nd qualifier, Winner of the eliminator will play the final match with the winner of Qualifier 1^st.

2.04 All matches will be played in Morning & afternoon.

2.05 All Matches will be of 20 Overs

2.06 It will be Super 14 team format, i.e., any 11 can field, any 11 can bat & any 11 can bowl at any point of time in the game

2.07 All Teams are expected to respect the Tournament rules and adhere to the Tournament set-up.

3) Rules & Regulations

3.01 League Matches - 5 bowlers can bowl 4 overs maximum

3.02 There will be a Powerplay of 1^st 4 overs & 2 overs Power Surge in-between 15 – 17 overs.

3.03 During Power Play maximum of 2 fielders are allowed to field outside the Inner circle & 3 players can field outside the circle in Power Surge.

3.04 All No-balls will be a free hit. Front foot, full toss above waistline & 2^nd bouncer above shoulder of over, illegal bowling action & violating fielding restrictions will be a No-Ball.

3.05 Rest of the international rules & regulations of cricket will be followed & adhere

3.06 Umpiring will be done by a professional and the umpire’s decision would be the last and final.

3.07 Wicket keeper can come to bowl directly after an over ends.

3.08 All Matches will be LIVE Streamed on YouTube - Angel Cricket Academy Channel and on the Facebook page too

3.09 Online Scoring will be done in the Cricheros app.

3.10 All players from both teams should be present 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Toss should be done 5 minutes before the scheduled start time.

3.11 If an opponent team is delayed for 10 minutes from the scheduled start time, 1 over will be deducted from the delayed team and 1 over deduction every 5 minutes after that. If a team is late more than 30 minutes the opposite will be declared as Winners.  

3.12 One New ball will be provided for each inning of the match & will be changed only upon damage to the Play beyond playing condition which will be decided by Umpires.

3.13 Captains are responsible to avoid any misbehavior on the field such as abusing a player, or umpire or indulge any activities that may cause unnecessary problems.
