All teams should register their team in the cric-heroes app before 15th July 2023. Registration of
players after fixtures is prohibited.
The tournament will consist of 20 registered teams. All matches will be played on an AstroTurf
field.
A list of the 8 players who will be playing should be provided to the scorer. Substitute players
cannot bowl or bat.
Teams will be 8 a side with 3 substitutes.
The organizer will decide the fixtures on 15th July 2023 at the Abu hail ground. Timings will be
conveyed later.
The toss will be done 15 minutes before the start of the match at the stated time.
If matches are tied, the result will be determined by super over.
Each team selects 3 batsmen and 1 bowler for the super over. Batsmen will be allowed to bowl
and vice-versa.
In case the ball has touched the overhead cables, such delivery will be considered as dead ball.
New ball will be used for all the matches.
There will be singles (declared), fours, and sixes from marked areas around the ground.
Bowlers can only bowl leg spin , off spin and straight bowling.
Soft tennis green ball will be used in 4 overs Knock-out based underarm super six format.
Chucking or throwing actions are not allowed and suspicious bowling actions will be called no
balls without warning by umpires.
Throughout each match, there will be 4 overs, and each bowler can bowl a maximum of 1 over
per match.
No lbw's. No free hits.
A runner is not allowed, and a substitute cannot bat or bowl. Fielding substitutes will be allowed
only after approval from the umpire and the opposition captain.
No shorts (half-trousers) allowed. Jerseys to be arranged by teams.
No arguments will be allowed on the umpire’s decisions during or after the match.
Players must accept the umpire and organizer's decision in a sportive manner.
Players must avoid littering inside and outside the ground. Alcohol is strictly prohibited.
The tournament is only for Konkani speaking roman Catholics with a valid Emirates id. It is
possible for one visit visa holder to be part of a team.
Organizers may reduce the over at any time.
Two prizes will be awarded: the winner plus cash and the runner-up plus cash. Trophies for best
batter of the tournament, best bowler of the tournament, and MVP of the tournament. Player of
the match awards will be provided for each match according to the cric-heroes app.
We have read all the rules and agree to abide by the rules mentioned above.
