General Rules1) 3 Teams will play in the tournament.2) Captains from their respective teams will bid for players.3) A player who has played in one team will not be allowed to play in another team.4) This tournament will be played with a Green VICKY Tennis ball.5) Each innings would start with a new ball for fair gameplay and to avoid any ballstitchouts.6) In case a ball is being lost or broken before completion two overs of an innings anew ball would be issued.7) If the ball is lost after two overs of an innings an old ball [used ball] would beissued.8) All league matches will be of 8 overs. FINALS would be of 10 overs.9) Date of Matches – 25TH JUNE 2023.10) The umpire is fully empowered to take the final decision which will be over andabove the management decision ‘on the ground’, and will be binding on everybody.11) If a player in the team isn’t available to play during a specified hour of play,respected teams cannot switch players but have to play 1 man down with the batand ball but substitutes shall be allowed only to field if approved by the umpires.12) All discrepancies shall be reported or appealed with umpires by the team’sCAPTAIN only.13) Playing the game with the right spirit is appreciated and make sure to finishASAP as it may delay the future matches. REMEMBER IT IS ONE DAYTOURNAMENT ONLY.14) WINNERS GET 2500.00 & a trophy. Meanwhile the lunch for all the players isarranged on the ground. The 1st game starts by 11:30 am sharp. Request all of youto be there by 11am without fail.Other Rules1) Tournament will be played on a single wicket.2) Team should report 40 minutes prior to the scheduled match start time. Tosswould be held 30 minutes before the start of the scheduled time. I.e. END OF 1STINNINGS FROM PREVIOUS MATCH.3) Minimum 9 players should be a part of the team.4) Any prolonged argument by a team, would yield a walkover to the opposition teambased on the decision by umpires and organisers.5) If any team walks out of the ground in protest during the playtime, the team will bedisqualified from the tournament.6) If any team member/s misbehaves with or abuses the umpires inside the field oroutside the field during the match, the team will be disqualified from the tournament.7) For every win, a team would score 2 points and the losing team won’t get anypoints.8) In case of a tie in the league or finals, there would be a super over and tie in superover will result in another one until a result is yielded out of it.9) Top two teams will be promoted to the finals on the basis of points scored and/orits NRR.10) Regulations for bowling are as follows:A. In a 8 over match → 2-2-1-1-1-1.B. In a 10 over match → 2-2-2-1-1-1-1.11) No free hits allowed.All short cricket no-ball rules allowed like, front foot crossing the front line or eitherfoot touching the side or back crease.Ball above waist height is deemed no ball, batsmen attempting to hit the ball acrossthe boundaries full toss is NOT OUT.Fielders out of boundary while the bowler is bowling is a no ball.Fielders moving sideways before the ball is delivered in an attempt to stop runs isstrictly no ball.12) If the batsman during the course of backing up leaves the popping crease beforethe ball is delivered, the 1st time is a warning next time onwards he could be run outby the bowler.
