General Rules

~ All normal cricket rules will apply

~ Online scoring will be done on Cricheros app

~ Team and Player details must be updated in Cricheros App link provided by the organizing committee & please add profile picture on profile. 

~ The tournament committee may make changes to the schedule or rules of the tournament and will inform the teams of any such changes in advance.

~ The tournament committee may also establish additional rules or regulations as

deemed necessary to ensure smooth running of the tournament.

~ Only IVY employees are eligible to play in this tournament, outsiders are strictly not allowed. If any team is playing with an outside IVY player, then the team will be disqualified, the league matches for the opposite teams will be awarded a win.

~ All players must adhere to the code of conduct and fair play rules set by the tournament committee, failing which, they may be disqualified from the tournament.

~ Each player can represent only one team throughout the tournament. Once a player has played for one team, he cannot play for any other team in the tournament. If a player is found to be playing for more than one team, both the teams that the player is associated with will be disqualified from the tournament.

This rule has been established to ensure fair play and prevent any sort of cheating or manipulation of the tournament results.

1. Tournament Format 

• 1.1. 10 teams will be participating in the tournament divided in 2 groups of 5 teams each
• 1.2. Teams of each group will paly each other in the league format
• 1.3. Each team will be awarded 2 points for a win and 1 point in case of a No-result
• 1.4. Top two teams from each group will proceed for the Semi-Finals based on points or
  (NRR) Net Run rate
• 1.5. All matches will be played on weekends
• 1.6. Three matches per day starting at 7:00 AM, 10:45 AM and 2:30 PM
• 1.7. Teams must report at the venue at least 30 minutes before the schedule start of play
• 1.8. All matches will consist of one innings per side, each innings being limited to a maximum of 20 overs.
• 1.9. All matches will be played with White glace ball and hence dark colored uniform is mandatory.
• 1.10. One New ball will be provided for each Innings of the match & will be changed only upon damage to the Play beyond playing condition which will be decided by the Umpires
