1. Each team shall include 7/8 players in a team.
2. There will be 7 overs played per innings. The same may be reduced due to unforeseen circumstances like weather, dew, bad light etc. However minimum number of overs cannot be less than 1.
3. Every match shall be completed in 30 minutes (i.e., 15 minutes per innings.)
4. Only EKLINGJI YUVA GROUP MEMEBERS are eligible for participation in this tournament. If a team is found to include any player who is a non- EKLINGJI YUVA GROUP MEMBER, then that team shall be disqualified.
5. All matches will be in night. Matches will be between 8pm to 12Am for Saturday and 9PM to 12AM FOR SUNDAY evening. The exact schedule will be circulated to all in a WhatsApp group.
6. ONE player can bowl ONE over maximum.
7. Fast bowling is not allowed. (SPEED TO BE JUDGED BY THE UMPIRE AND NO WARNING MAY BE GIVEN.)
8. Fast ball can be declared as no ball by the umpire.
9. BOWLER CAN NOT BOWL WITH FOOT STEP. BOWLER MUST BE STAND AND DELIVER the BALL TRHOUGH ARM ACTIONS. BOWLER CAN’T BOWL THROUGH RUN AND BOWL EVEN WITH SMALLER STEP
10. BALL PITICHING OUTSIDE PITCH AREA WILL BE DECALRED AS DEAD BALL.
11. On 3 consecutive dot ball strike will be change compulsory
12. No bouncer will be allowed in any match and it will be considered as a Wide ball / No ball as per the call of umpire.
13. In case the bowler change ends he needs to inform the umpire regarding the same or that bowl will be declared as no ball.
14. Teams can change wicket keeper after the completion of any over. In case the team needs to change the wicket keeper, he needs to inform the umpire or else the first bowl of the over will be declared as no ball.
15. Two fielders will be allowed outside the line in powerplay which must be first 2 overs of the game. Otherwise, maximum three fielders will be allowed outside the line.
16. To add more fun, each team will be given one challenge over. (Details explained in point 19.)
17. Abusive words are strictly not allowed. All needs to maintain the decorum of the game or the team might be disqualified.
18. Umpire decision will be final decision. No arguments will be tolerated against the umpire.
19. The rival team shall be declared winner if the team does not reach 15 mins prior to the scheduled time of their allotted match. No excuses will be tolerated for being late.
20. Challenge over (Batting powerplay)
a. Batting side will decide who is the bowler for a challenge over from opponent team.
b. Challenge over must be 3rd over of the game.
c. In challenge over the batting side will set a target and if the target is achieved the scoring will be doubled for that over and if the target
is not achieved then no runs will be counted for that over.
d. In challenge over only two fielders are permitted outside the line.
21. During non-powerplay overs there will be 3 fielders permitted outside the line.
22. No balls will be given free hit as per the decision of umpires.
23. For any field disputes, the decision taken by the field umpires will be final.
24. In case of tie, winner shall be declared on the basis of super over which will be a regular over.
25. All decisions of the committee of the tournament shall be final and binding on all the participating members.
26. The committee reserves the right to amend the rules at any point of time before/during the tournament in the spirit of the tournament.
