Number of overs: - 6
Please note umpire's calls will be the final call & the teams will have to respect the call (Arguments with umpires will lose 2 runs for your team).
General rules
Bowling action above the waistline of the bowler is not permitted and will be considered as No ball.
In a 6-over match, 4 bowlers are compulsory (2 bowlers can bowl 2 overs max)
The match will be played with 10 players
Maximum 4 fielders are permitted on the Boundary line
Wide: Leg side & out of crease line (Umpires call)
No Ball (Umpires call)
• No side declared before bowling
• Feet touch the front line
• Middle line
• Above waist height if the batsman is inside of the crease
• Full toss behind stumps
• Keeper catches the ball before stumps (wicket or the ball will not be counted)
Runs:
• only boundaries & sixes will be considered as declared runs (six will only be considered if the ball directly hits on the front net any diversion from the side will be considered as a boundary).
• For all the other runs batsmen will have to run.
• 2 runs will be considered if the ball passes through the nets
• Batsman can take a run on Overthrow
• Batsman can take the run on byes or leg byes
• Run taken on No & wide balls will be counted extra
• If the wicket falls on no-balls both run and ball will be counted
Wicket:
• Run out & stumping (will be counted as wickets even on the No ball)
• Bowled
• Catch (will be counted even if the ball hits the roof but will not be considered if a ball hits on the side net)
• Catch will be counted if the fielder touches the side net without touching the ball on the net.
In case of a tie winner will be decided by super over,
2nd batting team will bat first in super over
2 wicket fall will end the inning
in case of a tie in the super over toss, the winner will be the winner of the match in the league stage.
in the semis and final, additional super over will be played with 3 different batsmen and new bowlers.
