PRCCL 2023. Rules
 
1. ​All the First Round matches would be played of 14 overs. 
2. ​Any 2 Bowlers can bowl Maximum of 4 overs. Rest of the Bowlers can bowl maximum of 3 overs.  
3. ​There would be Mandatory Power-Play of 3 overs at start of each innings. This means that a maximum of 2 fielders will be allowed outside the 30 yards circle. During the non-power-play overs maximum 5 fielders will be allowed outside 30 yards. 
4.​Semi-final 16overs & The Final Match would be of 20 Overs. 
6. ​A bowler can bowl a Maximum of 4 overs.   
7. ​There would be Mandatory Power-Play of 4 overs at start of each innings in semifinal and Final match 6overs power-play. This means that a maximum of 2 Fielders will be allowed outside the 30 yards circle.
8.         Runner would be not allowed to any team during the tournament.  
9.         Substitute player should only be from the team squad. 
10. ​Runs will be considered for “Bye”, “Leg Bye”, “Wide Ball”, “No Ball” & “Over-Throw”. All other normal cricket rules apply except for the LBW We would not be adjudging any batsmen for LBW. 
11. ​If ball is pitched outside of the pitch or pitched more than once on/before the popping crease, then the ball will be considered as “No Ball”. 
12.          Every No Ball will be a free hit. 
13. ​Throw bowling will not be allowed. Any team reporting to the umpire for the throw bowling by any batsman, both umpires will discuss the matter, if they find then only will summarily stop the bowler for bowling and will not be allowed to bowl further in the match.  
14. ​If a match is tied i.e. both teams have equalled the score at the end of their innings, then the winner will be decided by 1 Super Over. All international cricketing rules will be applicable for the super over. 
15.​Super over & its scores will not be considered to calculate NRR. 
16. ​2 Points will be rewarded to the winner of every match of the first round. Losing team would not get any points. 
17. ​In this tournament final decision will be taken by the on-field umpires. In the scenarios of disputes discussion only captains will be allowed to involve with umpires to discuss. 
18. ​PRCCL committee reserves the right to make any changes in the above rules and information provided prior or during the tournament.
19. ​Strictly no Shorts, 3/4ths, Jeans and Slippers. 
20. ​On Swearing/Abusing, umpire will give one warning to the player, on 2nd instance, the player shall be barred from match.
