SRI CHAMARAJU MEMORIAL INTER ENGINEERING COLLEGIATE CRICKET TOURNAMENT

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. R.V. College of Engineering is organizing the above mentioned tournament in the Memory of Late. SRI CHAMARAJU, who was a Sports Enthusiast.

2. The tournament is scheduled to commence on 18th May 2023.

3. The mode of conduction of the tournament will be on a Knock-out basis.

4. Only Bonafide students are eligible to play. The players should produce the Bonafide certificate & Identity card duly signed by the Head of the Institution, prior to the commencement of their matches.

5. All matches will be of 30 overs a side.

6. Each bowler will bowl a maximum of 6 overs.

7. The fielding side should complete 30 overs within the stipulated time i.e., 125 Minutes.

8. In case the fielding side fails to complete the quota in the stipulated time, a Penalty of 10 runs per over will be awarded to the batting side.

9. Teams should report 30 minutes before the start of the play, a team arriving late shall lose overs at the rate of 1 over for every full 4 minutes.  

10. Only qualified Umpires from KSCA will be officiating in the Matches. The umpires decision is final and binding in all matches.

11. a. Not more than 5 fielders are allowed on the leg side.

11. b. One bouncer per over is permitted.

12. In case of a delayed start, umpires will decide the no of overs for each side. All K.S.C.A. Rules are applicable. Also, there will be a ‘Free Hit’ for all types no ball.

13. 15 member’s squad to be accompanied by a Coach/Manager. 

14. The team is liable to be disqualified, if the code of conduct is violated at any stage of the game.

15. Match balls will be provided by organizers.

16. No protest against the umpires will be entertained.

17. In case of rain, a minimum of 8 overs of the second innings have to be completed to decide the match by run rate.  If it is not completed super over will be played. If it is not completed the above match will be decided by the spin of the coin.

18. In case of a tie in the score, the result of the match will be decided by ‘Super Over’. KSCA Super over playing condition is applicable.

19. The Entry Fee is Rs 2000/- per team & has to be paid Online only (No Cash Transactions).  

20. Matches will be held at RVCE cricket grounds.

21. The Chamaraju Memorial Trophy will be awarded to the Winners & the Runners up team along with certificates and attractive Individual prizes.
