SCIS PREMIER LEAGUE 2023

1. Team should consist only of registered students, registered projeet students, alumni, teaching staff and family members, non-teaching staff and family members.

2. A team can have maximum of 9 players and 2 extra players.

3. All the matches will be 6 overs. Semi finals will be played in 7 overs and finals will be an 8 overs match.

4. In case of tie, a super over will be conducted to finalize the winner. In case of a super over the team that has chased will bat first.

5. No LBWs, No leg-byes, If the batter is found out of the crease during a leg-bye then the batter will be considered out if stumped/run-outs.

6. A bowler can bowl a maximum of 2 overs in a match. Minimum 4 bowlers must be used.

7. Excluding the bowler and wicket keeper, the maximum number of fielders on cither side must be only 4.

8. The team should report to the ground before half an hour of the scheduled match.

9. A player can play only in one team in one category.

10.A woman can play both in unisex and women category.

11. Umpires' decision will be final decision.

12. If the ball hits the stump and bails do not fall, it is considered as a not out.

13. If the bails had already fallen and the wicket keeper or the fielder had another chance to make a runout then they should remove the stump with the ball.

14. No free hits and no powerplay.

15. Law 21 of MCC laws of cricket will be followed for NO BALL.

16.Law 41.6 and 41.7 of MCC laws of cricket will be followed for Short pitch and full toss deliveries respectively.

17. The decision taken by the organizing committee on any matter is final.

18. After the release of the ball, if the ball directly lands outside the pitch the ball will

be considered as dead ball.
