IIMT College Premier League (IIMT-CPL) RULES/POLICY/TERMS & CONDITIONS
Eligibility: Only players who are registered with the IIMT College Premier League (IIMT-CPL) are allowed to participate in the tournament. Any player found to have played without registration will be disqualified and will not be allowed to participate in any future tournaments.
Safety Measures: The organizer will take all necessary safety measures to ensure the safety of the players, officials, and spectators during the tournament. However, the organizer will not be held responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur during the tournament.
Code of Conduct: All players, officials, and spectators are expected to maintain a high level of sportsmanship during the tournament. Any form of misconduct, including but not limited to abusive language, physical violence, and cheating, will not be tolerated and will result in immediate disqualification and legal action.
Ownership of the Tournament: The IIMT College Premier League (IIMT-CPL) is the property of the organizer, and any unauthorized use or reproduction of the tournament name, logo, or any other material associated with the tournament is strictly prohibited.
Disputes and Arbitration: Any disputes arising during the tournament will be resolved through arbitration, as per the rules and regulations of the organizer. The decision of the arbitrator will be final and binding on all parties concerned.
Media Coverage: The organizer reserves the right to use any photographs, videos, or other media coverage of the tournament for promotional purposes. Any objections to such usage must be raised in writing to the organizer within 24 hours of the end of the tournament.
Limitation of Liability: The organizer will not be held responsible for any loss or damage caused to any person or property during the tournament, including but not limited to loss or damage caused by theft, fire, or natural disasters.
Insurance: All players, officials, and spectators participating in the tournament are advised to obtain their own insurance coverage against any injury or loss that may occur during the tournament. The organizer will not be responsible for any injury or loss suffered by any participant.
Amendments: The organizer reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any such amendments will be posted on the official website of the IIMT College Premier League (IIMT-CPL).
Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
The equipment and belongings necessary for the team's participation in the IIMT College Premier League (IIMT-CPL) must be brought by the team themselves. The organizer will not be responsible for providing any equipment or belongings, including to sports kits, helmets, pads, or any other gear required for the tournament. Any loss or damage to the team's equipment or belongings during the tournament will be the sole responsibility of the team, and the organizer will not be held liable for any such loss or damage. The team must ensure that their equipment and belongings are in good condition and comply with the rules and regulations of the tournament. Any violation of this condition may result in disqualification from the tournament.
1.01 The Tournament is IIMT College Premier League (IIMT-CPL) in collaboration with _____________________________________________________________________________________and____________________________________________________________________________
1.02 The Organizing Committee with contact details will be provided along with Matches Schedule.
2) Participations
2.01 As this is IIMT College Premier League (IIMT-CPL) Cricket Tournament participating Teams are required to be from different Institutes/Colleges/District/ states of India and Every Team should have all Players from their same college groups only.
2.04 Any Violation from any Team of including Players from above said clause apart from their institute will amount to dis-qualifying that Team from the Tournament without any Entry-fee reimbursement.
2.05 Teams are required to provide a list of maximum 15 Players with passport copy, College ID/Office ID Copy UID Adhar Card and Photograph. All Players will be registered under IIMT College Premier League (IIMT-CPL) with unique registration no. & other related details.
2.06 Teams are required to to play in the white T-shirts with white Track pant (No shorts are allowed).
3) Tournament Format
3.01 There will be __teams participating in the Tournament divided in 2 groups with Teams of each group playing game in knockout format.
3.02 Top Two Teams from each group will proceed for Semi-Finals based on elimination.
3.03 All matches will be played on 19 -21 April 2023 Morning, Afternoons & evening.
3.04 Morning Matches has to start from 9:00 am and Afternoon matches from 1:30 pm.
3.05 All Matches will be of 10 Overs
3.06 Semi-Finals will be played on 21/4/23 date.
3.07 All Teams are expected to respect the Tournament rules and adhere to the Tournament set-up.
4) Rules & Regulations
4.01 Knockout Matches -Two bowler can bowl 3 overs maximum.
4.02 There will be Powerplay of 3 overs for a 10 overs match.
4.03 During Power Plays maximum 3 fielders are allowed to field outside the Inner circle.
4.04 Maximum of 5 fielders are allowed to field on either side of the wicket excluding Keeper and Bowler.
4.05 All No-balls will be free hit. Front foot, full toss above hip height & bouncer above shoulder, illegal bowling action & violating fielding restrictions will be a No-Ball.
4.06 Umpiring will be done by batting side and each game has to be a fair one & should be played in all good spirit.
4.07 Umpire’s Decision will be Final.
4.08 In case of any dispute or conflict, only captains will be allowed to speak with the umpires who in-turn can consult Organizing Committee if required.
4.09 Online Scoring will be done on crick heros.
4.10 Please note that once a team member has been named as part of one team, he will NOT be allowed to play for another team in the tournament.
4.11 All players from both teams should be present 15 minutes before scheduled start time. Toss should be done 5 minutes before scheduled start time.
4.12 If opponent team is delayed for 10 minutes from the scheduled start time, 1 over will be deducted from the delayed team and 1 over deduction every 5 minutes after that. If a team is late more than 30 minutes the opposite will be declared as Winners.
4.13 At least 7 Players of the Team must be present for the game to start.
4.14 The list of playing XI must be finalized before the toss by both team captains.
4.15 No iron/baseball Bats or Single piece bats are allowed in the tournament.
4.16 Red AA Leather balls will be used for all day matches.
4.17 One New ball will be provided for each Innings of the match & will be changed only upon damage to the Play beyond playing condition which will be decided mutually among Captains/Umpires.
4.18 Each Winning Team will be awarded 2 Points for win and In case of Tie superover.
4.19 In case of Tie during Semi-Finals, there will be One Super over until the clear result.
4.20 A substitute player will not be allowed to Bat/Bowl. A substitute fielder will be allowed for only initial 3 overs, if the player not reach by that time then the team have to play with lesser players, Substitute fielders can only field at any time during the match.
4.23 Request all players to play fair under all circumstances.
4.24 Captains are responsible to avoid any mis-behaviour on the field such as abuse a player, umpire or indulge any activities that may cause unnecessary problems.
4.25 All Players should carry with them valid College ID Cards. In case of any legal issues arising IIMT College Premier League (IIMT-CPL) Organizing Committee will not be responsible.
5) Participating Fee, Prizes & Awards
Each Team will Pay Rs 5100/- as Participating Fee.
