TOURNAMENT RULES:-

1. All matches will be played as per the BCCI laws code except as varied hereunder. Any change or amendments in some of the rules in this tournament are done purely at the discretion of the organizers. 
2. Matches will be played 11 a side. Each team should submit a list of 14 players before the tournament commences, otherwise team will not be allowed to play their matches. 
3. Matches will be of 20 overs a side throughout (each bowler to bowl a maximum of 4 overs). 
4. HOURS OF PLAY: As per the schedule given by the organisers. Playing team (WHOLE TEAM — PLAYING XI) has to reach the venue 30 minutes prior to the match timings. Toss will be done 15 minutes prior to the match (at the toss whole team needs to be present). Late reaching / violating the given timelines will result in reduction in overs at the discretion of the Umpires. In case if the team reaches the venue after 30 minutes of start time, the walkover will be given to the team present at ground. 
5. POINTS
Win - 2 points
Draw / Tie / No Result  - 1 point each
Loss - Nil 

6. In any interrupted match by rain/tie, result will be decided as under: 
a) Minimum of 5 overs have to be bowled by team Bowling second and if 5 overs are not completed, points will be split i.e. 1 point each 
b) In case of walkover, the team present on the ground gets 2 points. 

c) In case of draw /tie, the teams will get 1 point each. 
7. In case rain washes out play after team batting second has played minimum of 5 overs, the target for the team batting second would be, the overall run rate of the first team multiplied by the number of overs bowled in the second innings and the match would be counted. 
8. In the knock-out stage, if a match gets interrupted in the second innings before 5 overs get completed due to bad weather, bad light, and bad ground condition or with any other unforeseen circumstances the result will be decided by spin of coin. 
9. Minimum of 5 overs match can also take place in league or knock out stage in case of any interruption. Rules for the same will be decided by the standing umpire. 
10. In the league stage where minimum numbers of overs are not completed in an interrupted match, teams will get 1 point each. 
11. In case of 2 or more teams in a group at the end of the league stage having the same number of points, the following will apply to decide to qualify to the knock-out stage. 
a) In case of tie in points, the team with maximum wins will qualify. b) Even after applying above clause there is still a tie, the team with better Net Run Rate (NRR) will qualify. The net run rate is calculated as under: NRR = (total runs scored /total number of overs) — (total runs Conceded / total number of overs bowled). c) If the NRR is tied, then the result against each other is considered. d) Even after applying clause a, b and c, still there is a tie then result is decided by spin of coin.

12. PLAYERS WHO HAVE REPRESENTED THE STATE / INTERVARSITY / DISTRICT / OR ANY EQUIVALENT TOURNAMENT IN ANY CATEGORY AFTER 2007 AND PLAYERS REGISTERED WITH ANY STATE / DISTRICT CRICKET ASSOCIATION'S FOR THE LAST THREE YAERS IN THE LEAGUE AND OTHER KNOCKOUT TOURNAMENTS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE. 
IF A TEAM WINS THE MATCH INCLUDING SUCH PLAYERS THEN THE MATCH WILL BE AWARDED TO THE OPPONENT SIDE. 
13. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CAPTAIN

a) The players shall be bonafide employees of the company participating. b) Players from group companies are allowed. 
c) The captain is responsible for the conduct of the players of his team on the ground and shall cooperate with the umpires in smooth conduct of the game. 
d) The captain should ensure that the team wears proper cricket dress (Coloured as provided by the organisers) for the entire matches throughout the tournament. 
e) No team is further allowed to print anything on the dresses provided by the organisers. In case if any team / player found violating the rule, the same will be disqualified from further participating in the tournament. 

14. Tournament Technical Committee will comprise of: 
Mr Rajesh Saboo, Chairman, CII Himachal State Council Mr Arun Sharma, Member, Technical Committee, CPL 2017 Mr Raman Angra, Chair, Yi Solan Mr Hridesh Madan, Co-chair, Yi Solan Mr Sumanpreet Singh, Director, Confederation of Indian Industry 
15. All disputes should be referred to Tournament Technical Committee in writing not later than two hours after the disputed match. At no stage will a team walkout of the ground for any dispute. If it does, the match will be awarded to the opposition. 
16. Decision of the Tournament Committee is final and binding in the event of any disputes technical or otherwise. 
17. Only the team captains are entitled to speak to the umpires in case of a dispute. No team member is allowed to argue with either the umpires or members of the technical committee. If anyone resorts to such an act, the match will be awarded to the opposition.
