Tournament will be played using Sixit Tennis Ball (Green Sixit Ball).
‡ All players have to be a current employee of the College.
‡ The playing 11 should consist of 7 teaching and 4 non-teaching staff.
‡ The tournament will be played on knock-out basis.
‡ Each match will be of 8 overs per innings.
‡ Minimum five players should Bowl to complete 8 over.
‡ Maximum overs per bowler will be 2 overs.
‡ For first 2 overs in each innings mandatory power play will be taken. Fielding restrictions will
be applied in the power play, with only 2 fielders outside the inner circle.
‡ Any one over in between 3 to 8 over in each innings batting power play will be taken by batting
team. Fielding restrictions will be applied in the batting power play, with only 3 fielders outside
the inner circle.
‡ Other than power play overs maximum 5 fielders are allowed to outside the inner circle.
‡ Each team is required to bring their own bats & other kit elements other than ball & stumps
and all teams are expected to have a uniform dress code (jersey).
‡ The teams have to report at the venue 45 minutes before the scheduled time of the match
without fail.
‡ Toss for the next match will be done during the interval between 2 innings of the previous
match. Accordingly, captains of the 2 teams of the next match should be present during interval
of the previous match.
‡ All the regular cricketing rules will be followed except LBW, review and third umpire.
‡ If the match ends in a tie, the same will be decided by Super over and then on the basis of the
run rate and then the number of wickets lost. If both the scores and wickets tally then the win
be decided by a spin of coin by the umpires in the presence of the organizers.
‡ Submit original registration form and college ID card before first match for verification.
‡ The organizing committee has the authority to change the above rules anytime.
‡ The decision of the umpires and the organizers shall be final.
