11 players a side per game with 2 female players compulsory. Substitutions are allowed for same gender only.
Semi Finals & Finals will be a 8 overs games & rest will be of 7 overs games
Games will begin on shared schedule and team will have to play with short players, if any
Umpires & Organisers decision will have last say for any conflicting matters
In case of a point table tie, top 2 teams will be selected on best run rate basis (i.e. score / balls played)
Only playing captains are allowed to co-ordinate with umpires & organisers during the game
Only fielding team players (11 count) & Batting team player (2 count) are allowed on the turf. All the remaining player have to be waiting / sitting in the bay area
Fair Play Format:
First 2 overs of each innings will be played by the female players of each teams with male members contributing only in fielding
For batting team 2 female players will open the innings and will retire after 2 overs. Female batsman can be substituted by a female player in between the over.
For bowling team 2 female players will bowl the first 2 overs. Female bowler can be substituted by a female player in between the over.
After the first 2 overs the game will continue for remainder overs with male members participating for batting and bowling
Compulsory chase for every games to avoid tie (chasing team needs to score 1 run more from given target to avoid losing) except for the Final game where we would play a super over in case of a tie
Female players will continue to play for 12 balls irrespective if the female batsman gets out, however the team score will be reduced by 2 runs for every wicket taken by the female bowler (negative 2 runs for getting out but continue batting)
Bowling Rules:
Overstepping the lines (side/front/back), Over the waist full toss, 2 bounce before the batting crease will be declared a "No Ball"
Pace & unusual action delivery (sidearm, overarm or behind the body ) is not allowed and will be declare a "No Ball", final call of Umpire in case of conflicts
Bowler have to throw the ball underarm by staying within the balling box drawn on the field. Female bowler can choose between underarm and overarm (throw ball)
A "No Ball" thrown by the female bowler will be considered a "Dead Ball" (no runs will be allowed to be score for a Dead Ball). Another female bowler can be substituted for female bowler in between the over if desired. 6 valid balls will have to be thrown by the female player(s) to be considered as an over
No Free Hit for any "No Ball" and thus next ball will be a regular ball
Minimum 5 male bowler to ball the required remaining overs for every game
Batting Rules:
Batsman retire on 30 score (its excludes extra runs granted on power ball) and can replay if all other team players are out
No last man batting & only same gender runner can be used for a batsman
Fielding Rules:
Only 5 fielders are allowed behind the bowler. Maximum 11 fielder allowed on the field (9 male 2 female).
Byes, Leg byes, Extras & Over throws are allowed, final call of Umpire in case of conflicts
Ball hitting the top net and caught by fielder will be counted as a valid catch. If a ball hits the side nets it will be considered as a bounce.
Power Ball Rules:
3rd bowl of every bowler (male & female) will be a power ball
Every run scored by the batsman on a power ball will be doubled (subject to it being a valid ball)
Negative 5 runs for the team if they lose a wicket on a power ball
