Proposed Rules for *Jodhpur IT-Cup 2023* Cricket Tournament:

>> *All teams will play with 12 players. Player absenteeism is upto the team Captain.*

>> There will be no night matches in the tournament. Each day *players reporting time will be 07.15 AM. Toss time will be at 07.30 AM & Match starting time will be at 07.45 AM.*

>> *League matches will be of 13 overs each innings. Semifinal & Final match will be of 15 overs each innings.*

>> All matches will be played with *NIVIA HARD RED TENNIS BALL.*

>> *In a League match, 3 bowlers can bowl maximum 3 overs & 2 bowlers can bowl maximum 2 overs. In Semifinal & Final match, 5 bowlers can bowl maximum 3 overs.*

>> *After completion of an over change of batting & bowling end is not permitted. One complete match will be played from one end & successive match will be played from another end.*

>> *Powerplay in League Match has been split into 3 overs compulsory powerplay and 2 overs batting powerplay. Powerplay in Semifinal & Final match has been split into 4 overs compulsory powerplay and 2 overs batting powerplay.*

>> *In a League match, first 3 overs of the match innings will be compulsory powerplay. While for Semifinal & Final match, first 4 overs of the match innings will be compulsory Powerplay.*

>> *Second Powerplay (Batting Powerplay) will be of 2 overs which will be decided by the batting team. Batting Powerplay will be available for the batting side after the end of 8th over. If the batting side does not take the batting powerplay in the prescribed duration than, by default, the pen-ultimate (2nd last) over & the ultimate (last) over will be batting powerplay.*

>> During the Powerplay, 3 fielders will be allowed outside the 30 yard circle. For non-Powerplay overs of the innings, 5 fielders are allowed outside the 30 yard circle.

>> Free-Hit will apply where ever it is applicable. There will be no LBW rule. All Cricketing rules as per international cricket matches will apply, except mentioned otherwise.

>> One slip is mandatory for entire duration of match innings.

>> Wicket keeper can also bowl.

>> There will be no SUPER OVER for any tied match.

>> Following point calculation will be applicable for entire tournament:

For every Win a team will get = 02 points

For every tied-match both teams will get = 01 point each

For every loss a team will get = 00 points

In case of same no. of points of a team, NET RUN-RATE will be considered.

>> Wearing cricketing gear is not mandatory like batting pads & batting gloves, wicket-keeping pads etc.

>> Player can bring his own cricket kit eg. Bat, Batting Gloves, L-Guard etc. if he wants to. The player himself has to take care of his belongings. Committee is not responsible if his belongings are lost. 

>>> *In case of further on-field discripency or issue arising from any matter related to players, ground & playing rules, on-field match committee comprising of Vinay Gupta, Sanjay Sethiya, Devendra Parihar & Punit Daga will take necessary on-field action.*
