MATCH & AUCTION RULES
* 15 overs league format & T20 at Final stage as per MCA rules, Any delay shall lead to penalty in overs as per D/L method Or as per umpires decisions.
* Team should be in uniform presented by franchise or as informed by MTPL panel
* All teams should report min. 45mins before the scheduled start time of their match.
* Match if scores are tied the points will be divided as 1 each to the both the teams during league round, but in case of semis & finals the winner will be decided based on bowl out.
* Bidding Base Price (A Grade = 400 Base Price), (B Grade = 200 Base Price), (C Grade = 100 Base Price)
* Bidding BAR/FLAG Movements : 100>20, 200>50, 400>100, 1000>200, 2000>300, 3500>400, 5500>500
*RIGHT TO MATCH (R.T.M): Any previous franchise can use 1 RTM for full auction in case they have retained 1 or less players, If 2 players retained RTM cannot be used (e.g. In MTPL 4 if a player e.g. Devendra Kakad is brought by Rising sun & in MTPL5 if he is not retained but auctioned, and whatever prize any team apart from rising sun buys him at, Rising sun can use right to match card & at his current auction prize, they can buy him to play for rising sun in MTPL5
* RETAIN A PLAYER (R.A.P): The franchise has right to retain 1 or 2 players from his previous team in consultation to MTPL committee, Retained player A grade = 900/-, if B grade = 700/-, if C grade = 500/-. In this case the player has to agree to MTPL panel with a confirmation of Retain-ship for removing his name from auction list due to RAP
* ACQUIRE A PLAYER (A.A.P): Only new franchise can acquire a player, if released by previous franchise before 7 days of auction in consulting to the MTPL committee, Acquired Player prices shall be for A Grade = 1100/-, B grade = 900/-, C grade = 700/-. Maximum allowed AAP shall be 2nos per team. In this case the player has to inform MTPL panel to remove his name from auction list due to AAP.
* SPECIAL OPTIONAL BAGS (S.O.B): In case of mis-bidding by any franchise, they can buy 3000 INR bag price from MTPL panel, with utility bag price of 2000 INR to be used for bidding but franchise has to pay 3000 INR on immediate basis to MTCC for completing their team & Second Optional Bag at 3000 INR wherein the franchises shall get to utilise 1500 INR for bidding. Third Optional Bag at 4000 INR wherein the franchises shall get to utilise 1500 INR for bidding, All bags cannot be claimed at the same time. (S.O.B is allowed for all franchise but they need to confirm for it before the bidding starts in each round)
* MISTAKE OF BIDDING (M.O.B): If the franchise exceeding the value of players even after using S.O.B but could not fulfil the squad of minimum 14 in the team, then that franchise shall be termed disqualified & the players purchased by the Franchise owner before disqualification shall be available in auction for RTM between the other three Franchises & their player list can exceed 15.
* FRANCHISE AS PLAYER (F.A.P) : In case of player as franchise, he will be considered as a retained player & accordingly the bag prices shall be reduced from their bags based on his grade price mentioned as per R.A.P clause
* EXTERNAL PLAYER CONCEPT (E.P.C): A franchise can purchase maximum 6 Non MTCC players per team during the bidding and 4 nos of these players shall be allowed per match, minimum 2 matches to be allotted to every external player depending on his availability for all days. The external players need to register himself in auction by paying @3000 INR fees to MTCC.
* No Team fees in any case shall be refunded by MTCC
* Dress code for Auction : All Franchise Owners should wear Corporate attire (Blazer & formals), Rest of members & retained players can wear casual dress on the auction day
* It is mandatory to purchase all the players which are in the auction list
* The franchise reserves rights to further Sponsor any other items from sponsorship list with extra cost & they can design and promote their team as and how they require without disturbing MTCC interest. All personalized kits/uniform/caps provided by franchise should contain MTCC Logo & pattern to be approved by MTCC Committee Members
* None of the player not registered in auctions will be able to play in any period of MTPL, except the newly registered member in the due course of MTPL5, only if any substitution of any auctioned player will be allowed to play at base price
* In no circumstances MTCC committee & MTPL5 panel shall be held responsible to the player for any Injury, health issues, Death during the game, theft from ground or any Disciplinary concerns. But if it is affecting players exit from team than the franchise is allowed substitution only by newly joined players at the grade wise base price & not the old members who are discarded from MTPL5.
* Proper handling and maintaining the Kits provided by MTCC (Franchise / Team Captain's responsibility)
* The franchise decides the team combination, captain, coach or any other decision about his team, but has to ensure at least 2 matches out of total 5 league matches to be allotted to each purchased player. Failing to obey shall be considered as mis-conduct & lead to disqualification for team. This is applicable if the player's availability for all match days.
* The franchise plans their net practise sessions in consultation with MTCC, they shall obey to practice together on nets booked by MTCC in the season 8 only, individual team practice shall be termed as offensive
