Rules of the EDFC Cricket Tournament
1. This tournament would be played with Hard Tennis ball and with all standard cricket rules.
2. League matches would be of 15 overs, eleven (11) players per side are permitted.
3. Each Bowlers can bowl up to 3 overs maximum per inning.
4. First 5 overs are mandatory power play, Only, 2 players can field outside
the 30-yard circle during power play overs.
5. Duringthenon-powerplayoversminimumof4fieldersshouldbepresent within the 30-yard circle excluding wicket keeper & bowler (Total Six Players within Circle), failure to do so during a delivery of a ball would be called as a No-ball by the umpire.
6. After every No Ball, next delivery will be given as Free Hit.
7. It is captain’s responsibility to uphold spirit of the game by his team.
8. Super over will be used to break the tie in any match.
9. In case of tie in number of points after group stage round, the winner team will be decided based on Net Run Rate.
10.Tournament Committee reserves the right to change the schedule as required, any time during the tournament.
